Honestly it went like that: ZNN fandom was praising to me their chemistry and acting talent at a time where on CP existed, so I didn’t mind and thought they might be right. Then TNP was announced and based on the hype and budget I thought it was time for me to discover the super talented acting couple. I start and suddenly I see everyone talking abt « how much they improved their acting (like I thought they were already amazing actors or something??) and at the same time I just couldn’t with their acting. I donc mused that either we all have different visions of what great acting means, or it’s directors issues but I’ve been lied to.

mind you they aren’t Even my type visually, even their dynamic usually isn’t my stuff but ppl were talking abt how good they were so,I wanted to rely on their acting talents for them to convince me…Good thing NN is good at singing at least

Idk why I’m torturing myself but I didn’t even skip their scene so far, except after that RP one bc ngl we went from explosion to boring again and well…Budget sadly went on the costumes and settings ONLY, which are beautiful but you’d expect the story to follow the same quality. Expecially since, I’m being honest, it’s not hard to create a decent story with such universe. So many movies, from Hollywood, from cheaper productions and even from Barbie have been using the same concept already, I feel like they could have ride on that wave once more but it’s not giving.

I’m not a shipper,  I just appreciate them as actors, especially Apo, whose talent and beauty really stood out to me. No need to be rude about it though. KP was special to me because of both leads, no matter what happened after, and I’m genuinely curious to see what Apo does next.
I was mostly into the KP content from the 2022 era, not the Filmania or MS era, I guess that version of their relationship just worked better on me. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of the general acting style in most East Asian dramas (except for Koreans I’ll say), especially Japanese ones, and I rarely find storylines that click with me. So I mostly stick to queer books now and only check out dramas when the plot seems promising.
Abt your refs, sorry but YinWar last serie was ass, actually it’s one of those I tried to watch after KP but could keep up, I heard of maxtul so might give them a true, so far I’ve only enjoyed Not Me tbh.
I don’t exclusively watch BL so it’s not like I’ll die if KP remains the only one I enjoyed lol
