This is the issue with thinking pairings and not actors, bc actually anyone who plays well can fit a Cutie Pie concept, it’s your job as an actor to be able to change characters, now you can say that the CP script wouldn’t have fit some of those actors as they usually prefer more substance to their shows. I think the show was targeted toward their fans, simple explication, and the pseudo budget was to attract BL fans overall. The plot is so childish bc of its writing yet can’t get in a kid category bc of the romance and NC, but the plot can’t attract adults bc they find it boring, it’s such a weird position
