I think recent years have been a let down in kdramaland, and I admit, it might be because of my taste. As I grow older, I just know what I want and am not easily pleased, when I am not receiving what I want, or in the quality that I want.
For example, I am sucker for historical dramas, but I can name only TWO which were actually amazingly done - Red Sleeve and King's Affection. I know we got more historical dramas, but the constant comedy in them and cliche situations and weird romances make me wanna close my eyes and pretend they do not exist (yes, I am totally eyeing you ''The secret romantic guesthouse'' or ''Moonshine'').
Bring back intense historical love stories and my attention is going to be yours, S. Korea!
For example, the backstory for ''Moon in the day''? Yeah, I skipped allllll the modern scenes and watched only the historical parts, because assassin/rival general romance???? HELLO? I AM SEATED!
It was nice to see the projects from PART 1 nicely written on one page! BUT I have to say that it is about the time to add synopsis to those TV series, which are missing them :/ The live show where they announced those projects had interviews about the series, so synopsis could be written from the knowledge presented by the actors themselves on the press con. Who knows? Maybe i'll sit down and do it hahahah! Great article and cannot wait for PART 2 because that one is very close to my heartuuuuuu ~~~
Honestly, if I knew that someone I know killed a person which I admire or like, and had the opportunity to go back in time, I can't say what would be my first reaction if I encountered that evil person again.
Sakai has done it again. Once again we got new movie, which is not only a simple love story. It is a story about healing and finding your way back to yourself - to your better self. Just like with Utsukushii Kare, we can see tremendous work on details, which tell story themselves. In both stories, we can see how they motivate us to be who we are and EXPRESS what we truly feel. They show us that we shouldn't be afraid of our feelings.
I simply loved this movie and the lesson it taught us!

The infiltration process must be finished!
She must become one of us in the end ~~~~
The only thing they have in common is time travel, nothing else.
If I traveled back in time, changing my fate would be on the top of my list and revenge would be there as well.
Glasses for the win ~
