I loved that they kept the same characters along with their characteristics. The overall plot though, was somehow lacking. Not many jokes, and the story of the ghost is overused.
If you enjoy horror comedy than this is definitely for you! It is low budget and very cliche, but the acting and jokes are going to keep you entertained. Also, Mark is such a cute and kind ghost LOL
Past life, destiny, fate, trying not to repeat past tragic events, joseon,..Why TF do we need these cliché things…
I agree almost on all of your points except Joseon. Joseon dynasty was very long, so it is kinda norm that if there are past lives shown, they will be set in the Joseon dynasty. I mean, it lasted over 500 years :)
I may be in the minority, but this ending was perfect for this series so I really hope there won't be season 2. The logic was explained behind the game and that's enough for me.
FL along with others were sent back into the game loop. Parents got rid of the bug that was inside of JW so now she is gonna win the game again without helping others. For how long this loop's gonna last is for us to interpret.
a few things about this drama1. From the very beginning of the game they just started choosing random people without…
Hard to say without evidence. 1. Being a bystander is also a big deal in their eyes and was a factor contributing to their daughter's death. 2. Indeed, I hated the sudden change of rules. 4. Well, they put the FL back in the pod, so we can assume that they are back in the loop to play again, plus the parents fixed their daughter's bug so now she WILL win the game again, like it was mentioned before.
suck ending!!!this drama have more potential to have a sequel but that destroyed by the writers who choose some…
Why it was a bullshit ending? Everything was explained well and with these type of dramas it is the most important thing to explain how the universe works, which they did.
Finally here, to write my take on the ending! Firstly, I wanna point on how amazing the ending was, and how correct I was in my assumptions about what is going on - I wanna avoid spoilers, so will only say that this indeed is a sci-fi drama, and not a fantasy one like some people suddenly started to think after certain events in drama. Secondly, I am more than happy that this drama showed deeper issue within an issue - the game. As I stated about week ago, this drama is what it was marketed as - a death game, but this death game has a reason for existing. Is knowing that reason gonna change the game? No, in the end, it is just a death game, so my theory about simply focusing on the game properly was a good approach. I am happy that the ending proved my theory to be true. Honestly, if it was other drama I would be mad how predictable the ending is, but here I am happy because my theories were proven to be right. Thirdly, I wanna applaud the writer for at least showing the morality of the game. I know theories were floating around that good people were given the role of citizens and bad people were given the role of mafia. I like how the writer said big nope and simply stayed truthful to the original game - that who you are does not determine your role in the game.
Now, I wanna say things which I did not like.
Honestly, it is only one thing - the absurdity of the rules. Now, after finale I know why some rules were changed - to bring in more violent death, but honestly I was not on board with it. As an avid fan and player of the game I was quite mad.
I do not blame Da Beom for getting mad, 'cause they are on the verge of dying 'cause it's only two of them, and still he gets betrayed! Like, this is a suicide basically. Da Beom literally said that he ain't dying alone and I like that attitude honestly! There is no way out of this, so better go with a bang.
SPOILER FOR THE POLICE'S IDENTITY Honestly nahee's sacrifice makes no sense it pisses me off. Who would willingly…
Honestly, I do not think it's a plothole, that mafia knows where people are, cause the school looks small? And they have like 6 hours to search for people. It wouldn't made sense if they found someone if they were hiding in the woods or somewhere far.
The overall plot though, was somehow lacking.

I wouldn't wanna play the game with any of them LOL
I like the idea of not knowing when the loop's gonna end.

Citizens killed more citizens than mafia LOL
