So far the drama is doing pretty good in following the webtoon. I don’t believe there will be a love triangle…
I doubt we are done with revenge arc though?
I still think we have loooong way to go to see proper revenge :)

So far so good. I appreciate that the king in the story is truly a king, like how I've always pictured historical…
Well, not many kings were bad, honestly?
I can name more than few Korean monarchs who were amazing and no it is not only Sejong.

With that being said, I agree in a way that Koreans should definitely show more evil spirited monarchs, since they had some as well *Yeon San enters the chat*

It was the hardest poll I ever made - not gonna lieeeeee.I simply love them all.I contemplated about it as well,…
I voted for Yi Seong Hun from crime drama Duel.
Honestly, he has a soft spot in my heart because he is truly a villain, but on the other hand, he is full of love, which does not happen often with Korean villains. He is running on both hatred, and love and the said love was his ultimate demise. He was such a sad, not well understood character T.T Plus the acting???? Damn, I miss that actor so much!

Such a good poll, and it was super hard to decide! Although, I would argue that the BL characters aren't villains,…
It was the hardest poll I ever made - not gonna lieeeeee.
I simply love them all.
I contemplated about it as well, but than again, even if they are main characters, it doesn't mean they get immunity card, you know? As you said, they are in mafia, killed people, thus, I did rank them as bad.

Which decoration do u mean?
Oh, but aren't u simple mistaking architecture style? If you look at two historical kdramas set in Joseon dynasty, you can call it exact copy as well, but it isn't copying, but just following the architecture style of the period. Since Alchemy was heavily inspired by Goryeo dynasty and this is fusion of Joseon and Goryeo, I think it is given that we are going to see a lot of similarities.

I love dominant male leads myself, but kdramas are known for this- especially older kdramas. They are everywhere.…
Please, do spoil me those old historical dramas with posessive lead, because as far as I know, only Princess' Man had such main character.

WuXia? In what way?
The ridiculous jumps have been around since idk when, but I can say that these flying jumps appeared in old historical dramas as well.

Seeing the costumes, I can't quite figure out what era does this show supposed to be based on. Or is it more like…
It is indeed fictional like Alchemy, but it is new version of fictional I guess? Previously, we had historical dramas, which didn't portray real historical characters, BUT they were set in a real time period. In Alchemy and here we not only have fictional characters, but also fictional era.

From first glance, this looks to be a fusion of Joseon dynasty (architecture) and Goryeo dynasty (clothes and jewels)
