i was really hoping that Susu and Guo would have a happy ending with their child π’ And Dajiao dying before growing old with XiuXiu was unexpected too π
i don't remember why i gave this 7 stars. Now i see FL acting was horrible π Even the kissing scenes are horrible, Yang Yang tried his best and gave her real kisses and she just stood there like a plant π
I kinda don't understand the motivation for the villain to do so much to get Gun Woo. Like there are so many good…
Gun Woo became a middleweight world champion, that's the reason. He was not just like any other fighter. Getting Gun Woo into IKFC would bring much more money than any other fighter. Bringing a popular world champion would make viewers bet much more money on his matches. No random fighter could give him that. We can also include the fact that Gun Woo was everything Baek Jeong wanted to be but never was able to. Baek Jeong was also once a decorated boxer, until he ruined everything by assaulting a referee, deep down he was also envious of Gun Woo for having achieved a title that he himself had fought for in the past. We can also add the refusal from Gun Woo at first, was seen as a personal insult, because maybe it never happened before. All the fighters that have been in IKFC probably accepted the proposal right away because of the money. Having a world champion refuse you and refuse the huge amount of money you're offering, it's like he's challenging your authority, specially to someone like Baek Jeong, that has very high ego and thinks money buys everything. All of these reasons influenced Baek Jeong's obsession with Gun Woo. At the end of the day, money was behind it all, and Baek Jeong was blinded by that.
This series is Good , visuals are good , every actors /actress acting natural , story philosophy (world peace),…
Agree with everything! BUUTTT, don't say xianxia is garbage, maybe you just haven't found one that you liked, but it's definitely one of the most loved genres among asian drama fans for a reason.
What C dramas would you recommend? It's hard to know where to start
the question wasn't for me, but for starters i would recommend "Hidden Love (2023)", "Love is Sweet", "Love Song in Winter" and also "Fireworks of My Heart". Also keep in mind that cdramas have much more episodes. The one's i recommend you are actually classics in cdrama community, the stories are interesting but also light and fun.
Can't wait for his comeback after this Saeron thing is all done and dusted I know he will come back with a bang
I also hope he will come back strong as ever! People attacking him don't know the actual story and don't bother to know either, they read only the titles of the news and don't bother to read the articles and search even further, so they blindly believe what they're told. But i believe he still has a large fanbase waiting for him and supporting him! At the end of the day, the truth prevails and karma still exists.
It's slow paced, romance is not the main theme but it's still there, the plot is different and interesting. I think you should give it a try, at least try to watch the first episode and then decide if you wanna keep going. I think the low rating here doesn't make sense. Personally, i liked this drama very much, and would recommend it to anyone.
This is based on a manga. Season 2 finished its run, adapting the latter part of the original manga. The manga itself concluded, meaning a potential Season 3 would need new material or a creative continuation. But, i like to be positive and i really wish a Season 3 comes eventually.
There's tons of movies and series like this one, that shows taboo themes, so doesn't make much sense that people here are going berserk for this.
Cinema is a very wonderful thing, because we can be as creative as we want and there's no limits to it. We can create fictional stories and let our creativity flow, or we can also show the real and raw human world that we live in. Both are correct and both are worth watching.
Just because a movie or series shows something labelled as "wrong", "illegal", "immoral", that doesn't mean it's trying to encourage any type of behavior or trying to normalize it, it simply means it's showing and telling a story that needs to be heard and seen. We have hundreds of suicide scenes in the cinema world, does that mean that every one of those scenes were made to encourage the viewers to kill themselves? Does that mean that we now consider suicide a normal occurrence? No, but some of them were made to alert the viewers and also to raise awareness. The same applies to this theme, It doesn't matter if you call it pedophilia or grooming, or any other kind of concept. This is not trying to encourage people to go and have relationships with minors. It's not trying to normalize adults having relationships with minors either. It's simply demonstrating a reality that is often ignored.
Also, it seems some people here didn't even watch until the end or haven't watched with enough attention, because there's nothing in this drama thats implies that what they were doing was right, they both also knew that, they knew what they were doing was wrong and they decided to keep going while being fully aware of that. Also, the end of this drama is very important, and people here choose to ignore it, they became each others past, they both kept going on with their lives, and they both acknowledged to themselves how important they were to each other somehow, If nothing else, they have grown and matured.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I enjoyed this drama, because I was one of the few people who truly understood its purpose and the message it conveys. This doesn't mean I support relationships of this type, it doesn't mean I would ever do something like this with a minor; we can appreciate art and still admit when we disagree with its story.
In the end, I was just happy because they were both able to move on, each in their own direction, while admitting what they did, while not trying to run away or deny it, they embraced their mistakes instead and decided to keep living and become better people.
For all of you that are sensitive to this themes, it's perfectly okay, nobody can force you to like it, we are all different and we all have different limits. That's what makes this world so beautiful! You don't need to watch it, you don't need to like it. The best thing you can do is always verify the synopsis, tags and age restriction, and choose what fits your preferences. Don't torture yourself by watching something you absolutely know you can't handle it or know you're gonna hate it. Be kind to yourself and choose what actually makes you happy, and then you can be kind to others, and respect their preferences and opinions.
To everyone that read this until the end, i wish you all the love in the world, i wish you have a life full of happiness, love, health and everything you dream off.
hey so am i the only one who actually finds Kasamatsu Sho attractive? T_TI am reading the comments and everyone…
Not the only one at all !!! He's very attractive to many, including me too! Obviously, he's not the typical Asian actor who has fans drooling over him, He also doesn't have many romantic roles, which are the most appealing to fans of Asian dramas. Still, he has a special charm that can't even be explained. He may not be the typical Asian boy that everyone likes, but he's not exactly ugly either. He also has a good personality and is a very respectful person. I think most drama fans have an unrealistic view of beauty in general, they are obsessed with these actors and idols, they become crazy in the head, some even think that every asian is hot and looks like their idols, it's really crazy!
normal version -> dubbing with voice actors
