pretty mediocre actually, kiss scenes look all the same (am i the only one that noticed that?), it's like the same kiss with different backgrounds, same angles, same technique, it got boring too fast, no chemistry between the leads, female lead doesn't even know how to kiss properly. Story is quite ridiculous, and the most stupid thing i saw is female lead shoot male lead in the chest, leaves his body behind suffering thinking he was dead, and when he comes back, she acts like she's the victim and he treats it like it never happened and forgives her just like that... i mean wtf, how can you forgive someone who shoots you with the intention of killing you, doesn't even bother to actually check if you're alive or not, doesn't provide any help and leaves you bleeding to death like you're trash... what a joke honestly... only in dramas we see stupid stuff like this...
When did they get together?Any breakup? How long?Any love triangle? Annoying?HE?
they got together around episode 17 if I'm not mistaken, there's no breakups, no love triangles (SML likes FL but she doesn't care), and yes, it's a happy ending 😉
Am i the only one that was rooting for Xi Yang and Jing Yan to actually be together and have a normal relationship? I mean, yeah they were very toxic to each other, but they did love each other at some point. Jing Yan was a crazy person, but i hated to see him die.
Steamy kisses , shamelessly making out , letting his wife dominate and taking pride in that ( mostly opposite…
Someone here said the kisses always had obstacles and couldn't be seen property, and now i see you saying there's steamy kisses. I don't know what to believe anymore ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
You have to look past the surface of things. The mom was trying to protect her daughter from scrutiny and further…
Exactly, and many people today still have that kind of mindset, and we're talking about China, cases like this and mindsets like this are unfortunately very common. But many people forget that this causes more pain for the victim, makes the victim doubt and blame herself more. It's a sad reality, but it doesn't mean that it should be normalized.
You have to look past the surface of things. The mom was trying to protect her daughter from scrutiny and further…
i really want to understand that, but i can't, that doesn't make any sense in my head... manipulating your daughter and making her the villain, making your family the victims, "have you ever thought about your family?" the mother said, what does this even mean? Her daughter is a victim, the family has nothing to do with the case. In times like these the victim is the important person, she needs support, not other people coming and wanting to make everything about themselves. Basically, the mother placed the blame on her daughter, as if to say "you were only raped because you wanted to or because you let yourself be" This is the interpretation i got from what I've seen so far...
I'm only on episode 5, and her mother is the worst!!! I can't even imagine a mother treating her daughter like this after knowing her daughter was raped, this is horrible!!! What kind of family is that????
In my country, baseball isn't popular at all and i understand nothing about this sport, but somehow this drama got me hooked up from the beginning until the end, and i actually learned a lot of new stuff about the sport, which is pretty cool.
Also, i cried a lot when Seung Soo was crying while holding that baby, it was such a beautiful moment and very sad at the same time. Losing a child is never easy, it leaves a mark that nevers goes away.
I was wondering where Haochen is during the scene with Grandma. You'd think he would be there making dumplings…
That would be a beautiful moment to see!! A lot of people believe that when you're in a coma, you can still hear people talking to you. A moment like that would make this drama very different.
I was wondering where Haochen is during the scene with Grandma. You'd think he would be there making dumplings…
oh yes, i remember that for sure. But they decided to keep supporting that lie, they decided to treat Haochen has Haoming's child, which frustrates me even more. If they wanted to erase him at the end, at least let him know the truth, or don't use that whole stuff about forging documents. The whole story around Haochen was badly written i think.

I completely agree with the hospital thing too. They completely hide everything from Haochen, how can they hide that his "dad" is in the hospital fighting for his life? The least they should do is let the kid visit him. I understand they wanted to protect him, and even more because he was already in a bad condition, but still... it's the man that he always saw as a father figure, he had the right to know. It's like he wasn't part of the family at all.

There's definitely a lot of missing information and scenes. They developed this whole story from the very beginning, and at the end, they gaves us nothing, only questions without answers. They put quite useless scenes with the main couple for the sake of a happy ending. I waited for this drama almost an entire year, was very excited for it. And now i just feel disappointed. I know the main couple are the main thing in this drama, but then, i don't understand why they even developed any family story. Maybe it would be better if Haochen wasn't his son at all, and let him be just a brother, that way, this wouldn't feel as incomplete.

I mean, sure, if we talk about real life, that might be a good excuse. But this is a drama, they should make things more nicely, especially because there is no reason at all to make him disappear. They went through all that stuff to make him recover, they lived with him in her grandma's house for quite a while, why couldn't they just keep living with him after? Even though Haoming wasn't a good father, he was still the father, and Xu Yan was happy to be a mother to that child. I can't see any reason for the child to be separated from their parents. This is supposed to be a happy ending, but i was expecting to see a happy ending with a happy family, and that didn't happen... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I was wondering where Haochen is during the scene with Grandma. You'd think he would be there making dumplings…
exactly!!! there's also a scene that shows them seeing their couple album, in the last photo, Haochen is there, but in real life he's not... i don't understand what was going on in directors mind...
Someone said it's a good drama but they kinda fucked up the haochen story for sure, without giving a proper father-son…
For reallll, this was horrible!!! Haoming never truly acted like a father, even after the truth came out, he never showed care or worry for his son. After Haochen recovery, we never see him again, it's like he disappeared from their lives, we don't even see him living with them in their house, like he never existed. This frustrated me so much!!!
what i hated the most is how Haochen story was portrayed. Haoming might me a perfect husband, but he's a terrible father. Even after the truth came out, i didn't see any kind of fatherly love, it's almost like Haoming didn't even truly worry or cared for his son. When they came back to the city, after Haochen was recovered, we don't see Haochen anymore, it's like he just disappeared from their lives, we don't even see him live in their house with them, all that drama about him, and from one episode to another, they erased him.
