I like stories like this because, even if it's going to take a while for the two of them to kiss, you don't get caught up in the “where's the kiss, where's the kiss”, because there are so many action scenes, so much happens in the episode that you don't even think about it.

This is one of gmm's best and certainly the best of the OffGun couple. Too bad gmm doesn't make scripts like this anymore, now it's just generic nonsense.

yes, I agree with you, I sometimes miss more critical stories that make people think about homophobia in the world, but I've noticed that I'll have to look elsewhere, not in the BLS, but I always hope that the genres will evolve, who knows one day.

I'm pretty sure that these stories that seem almost like a Bromance end up attracting more people who wouldn't normally watch a BL because this discourse "there's no need for kissing" "just by looking at each other is romance/love" is a discourse that for me if it's not homophobia it's internal homophobia, it seems that anyone who wants to watch a kiss is a "dirty or sinful person" and anyone who doesn't want to is "a pure person".

I think it's funny that some people think it's absurd to demand a kiss or something more explicit as if they were demanding a porn movie, I think a kiss is so normal/banal because it's quite likely that I've seen a lot more heterosexual works than gay ones, and obviously no one is arguing about whether the man is going to kiss the woman or if he's already kissed too quickly, I was annoyed at the beginning of this BL by the long scenes in schools, other bls have this school setting but they usually manage to dose it better or create more interesting conflicts. And I've never read so much “slow burn” in my life I think there are movies and series that make sense to be devadar, but even those have a progression in the story or are completely meaningless and boring

I just find the NC scenes a bit weird

that's precisely why I rarely watch a hetero kdrama, and in my country most of those who do are religious fanatics who think they'll sin less by watching a drama without physical contact I prefer US soap operas and series

Second, as they have the freedom to write that comment, i also have the right to reply to them positively, negatively or even neutral.
(But you seem to be extremely annoyed by people who don't like your favorite TV show)

Third, why did i say hater to them? (you're a parrot who repeats what others write) cuz they compare two different novels with a whole very different genres with each other -even if they are from the same author- without explaining further. (that's irrelevant, I can say that work x by the same author has more rhythm.) Aka:- are they hating the script? Or have some issues with the acting? or they didn't like some scenes that was poorly written? they didn't explain)

And that's why i said if they don't like slow burn romance, coming of age or slice of life, they shouldn't watch anything related to it.(but it's not slow burn, it's a completely stagnant story that goes nowhere.)

Maybe i overreacted when i said 'hater'? maybe. but i don't regret it.

If you hate or didn't like this drama, it's okay. this drama is not for you. you have the right to express that opinion and get a few bad responses -like me when i replied to nama2sama user- but pls, at least give your reasons. Not for us, but for future audiences, maybe they gonna consider those reasons before or while or after watching. Pls write a good bad review)

(I wasn't upset that there wasn't a more passionate kiss like in we best love, I said that I don't mind to watch two men kissing, and I'm not condemning anyone who wants to see that kiss, because it doesn't make sense in any romance story dont have a kiss .)

I agree with you, I have nothing against it if there was a kiss in the movie, I heard there was a kiss in extra scenes on the DVD, I think. I only commented in the sense of the first person citing this movie as heterosexual and not having a kiss. If there isn't, it makes sense given the time the book was released.
