If the writer is not smart and talented enough, you can give them 50 or 500 episodes or just 1, the story is not…
Usually it's not about the actors, 99% of the time it's about the writer and director if the show is not good. Actors are basically just puppets. Not many of them have a say in the story development.

The one thing I can say is that some of them should rethink what project they want to pick.

In LR, I can forgive nonsense like that crime part. The police work was an absolute mess tbh but that's nothing new, especially in a romcom. I never understood why we need crime in romcoms but anyway.😅

I'd have given 7/10 to LR with a better finale. If you read my review you'll understand what I mean. I don't want to spoil it here.

Another fact-free Killer Knetz Klown, aching for a suicide.
Just because a pedo wins every case doesn't mean it's the correct decision and as I said, the girl can't defend herself because you know, she's not alive anymore.

I don't care about celebs personal lives, but I saw the evidence and that was enough. Those pictures, videos and voice recordings weren't fake.

I don't give a damn about how successful he is or anyone else. If someone is guilty they should be punished. End of story.

Wonder what you would say if this was a random dude who you don't know.

I only finished LND and WYMM because I love Somin. That was a habit of mine for a long time, but now I think I should stop doing that because it's just a waste of my time. Just because I love an actor doesn't mean I have to force myself to finish something if I don't like it.

Lovely Runner was decent, it's jut the time traveling stories are my fave as a Sci-fi lover so I'm 10x more critical with that plot and the finale really angered me because the writer messed up the whole concept she set. Tbf, a LOT of writers have messed up time travel plots.

Tbh, I only started it because I love Ahn Eunjin. It was good till EP7 or so, but after that it went downhill with all the nonsense. Especially the last 2 episodes. That was batshit crazy.

I'm very critical unlike most Kdrama fans, but I put it next to other badly written and inconsistent dramas like "Lovely Runner (5/10)", "Love Next Door (6/10)" or "Would You Marry Me? (6/10)" for example. The funny thing is I didn't give a really low score to any of these because these aren't crap like dramas below 5/10 but the writing made me angry more than in a 3/10 drama.😂
On Siren’s Kiss Mar 3, 2026
Not a very strong cast honestly. I mean, Kim Yung Hyun (he should be the main guy btw) is good but the rest is kinda meh. I don't remember when was the last time I watched something good with Park Minyoung.

At least the director is the guy who did one of my all-time fave Kdrama "Flower of Evil", and the writer is a rookie so who knows what's gonna happen with this.

Not sure about either of the guys yet. Especially the SML. Yeah, yeah I know most people will love him and give…
ML is salvageable even with his lack of focus ability but the real problem is if they drag the love triangle longer than EP5 or 6 I might consider dropping it, it doesn't matter how fun it is. This blind date stuff can be interesting and fun for a short period of time.

Based on the teaser, she's going to have a lot of dates so not sure what their plan is.

I have high standards too, and I'm single too. I'm not co-dependent, I don't need a relationship just for the sake of it or because other people think I should get married and have kids.

Usually people ask for another date in 3 days. If you have to wait longer it's not worth your time. UNLESS something really important happened to the other person. Here, he just can't focus on more than 1 thing. That's not a good excuse. Unless it's an actual medical problem, but I doubt it.

I admit this drama was okay but Lovely Runner was actually a beautiful and well written drama , I was anxiously…
Read my review to see how they messed up the story. I don't want to spoil it here. All I can say is that it was one of the most inconsistent scripts ever. The writer couldn't even follow their own rules. Those last 2 episodes were batshit crazy. "Lovely Runner" doesn't deserve a high rating like 9.0 but I'm not surprised, most romcom lovers only see the romance and not the story itself. This is why romcoms are still the most popular genre.

This is why I don't time travel in Kdramas, especially in romcoms. It's just a plot device. If you remove the time travel part, it was an average (maybe 6-7) romcom but that's all.

This is why I rarely watch fantasy/sci-fi romcoms nowadays, unless it's from a well known writer. It's easier to forgive the lazy writing in a simple slice-of-life romcom, unless it's messed up like "Dynamite Kiss."😂

He was intentionally rude at first because he was pretending to be guy who was supposed to be there. Then when…
He lost his chance the minute he lied. He's real personality doesn't matter at all. Also, let's not forget, he's real personality wanted to get laid after the first date when FL was drunk. That's not a good look.
Replying to Veronika M Mar 1, 2026
So she shows up on blind date, zero interest in his personality, taken aback by his appearance, all she cares…
She never insulted him at all. She was asking him about his job because that's all she knew about him. It was obvious she was uncomfortable because the guy was like a wooden puppet. She went on the date mainly because ML can only focus on one thing not because the original guy is probably rich.

"Honestly, if he told her the truth she would leave him on the stop without so much as goodbye."

That's exactly my point. He's a liar and he was a prick, but got a 2nd chance because he's handsome and he knows it, that's why he's a playboy.

FL is also problematic because her first thought was ML's car, but at least she tried to do something on their date and she didn't lie. It's obvious no one's gonna date an unemployed person, especially workaholic Koreans. So, that's just 1 minus point but not a big deal.

Yeah, he called on her but he doesn't have the right to do that because he's a liar. It's obvious where the story goes tbh. He's not rich, just an average but handsome guy who acts cool but is a Disney Prince inside.

"not calling is not big deal"

Which one? Because both guys ignored her for different reasons. Yeah, women can call men too if they want to continue the date, but she's obviously not that type of a woman. I mean, she asked Google what to do.🤣 When they met again, ML answered after like 2 days? I get that he has focusing problems but come on now. So, she did everything.

Anyway, so far it's good, but the love triangle can be annoying real fast if they drag it out too long.

The guy is obviously a little red flag too. He lied, and didn't say a single word till she started asking basic things. Like, what else could she've done other than asking about the things she already knew from her co-worker? He then proceeded to ask her to pay up, but still got a 2nd chance because he's handsome. Then they got drunk and already wanted to sleep with her.

Maybe I'm too old fashioned (and also a guy) but for me that's a red flag. I don't care if he's nice on the inside. What matters is how he looks on the outside.

The second lead is immature, rude and eats loudly. How are some people feeling the 2nd lead syndrome? Lol
He's a typical cool and handsome. Free pass card is his face. 😂
Replying to Joy Mar 1, 2026
Iam getting second lead syndrome now , not only the guy is so good looking but around him ui yeong acts like her…
Sure, she was more like herself with SML, but only because he's a liar and they were drunk. Not because he's a good guy. He's basically a player who knows he's good looking and can do anything. Most women with a brain would leave him the minute he opens his mouth, but he got a 2nd chance because he's handsome. Not to mention the guy never said a single word to her other than: "Buy me some cake and a drink."
Replying to David33 Mar 1, 2026
2nd episode was pretty good again. I'm not sure how long they can drag the love triangle without getting annoying…
Not sure about either of the guys yet. Especially the SML.

Yeah, yeah I know most people will love him and give him a free pass because he's a typical pretty boy, but if you're already lying about yourself, not to mention going on a date as someone else is a Red Flag for me. I don't care what other people say. I know it's just a blind date but if you start a relationship with lies it's already destined to fail. I hate the "He's good looking and a prick outside but he's so nice inside." trope. You either show your true self or move along, because if you don't you're just wasting my time.

As for the ML. He's obviously a nice guy with focusing problems, just like my girl Sooyoung said. I was happy to see her cameo. I feel like we're going to see more cameos here. Anyway. My point is, ML didn't contact her, not even read her message for like a week, because he can only focus on one thing. I wouldn't say it's that bad but in the long term it can hurt any relationship.

Overall, it's entertaining and fun, but they obviously set up the two guys as total opposites of each other. To be honest, I didn't like what FL said about ML's car and money in general either. I know people want someone with a good background, but the first thing she mentioned was his car. That's a NO for me.

So, I think we could say it's a pretty realistic drama so far. The ending was funny.
On No Tail to Tell Mar 1, 2026
Based on the comments about the story it looks like Kim Hyeyoon has a talent for picking poorly written inconsistent scripts where the writer(s) can't follow their own rules. First "Lovely Runner" and now this.

I think she needs a new manager/agency or something or just stop doing romcoms for a couple of years.

Once again the 12 ep romance curse, im calling it. not too say there aren't great 12 episode dramas but this one…
If the writer is not smart and talented enough, you can give them 50 or 500 episodes or just 1, the story is not gonna be better. They probably thought the 2 main leads will carry the drama because they look good together on screen. That's why at least 90% of romcoms are a massive flop and boring.
