it is very realistic! they are first year residents lol not professors...Thats literally start..they get better…
I didn't watch Reset, and I didn't see any Cdrama yet, LOL! Kinda weird because I've seen a lot of Chinese movies. Maybe because I'm focusing on learning Korean so that's why I only watch Kmovies and dramas.

Time loop is a bit different is it's harder to mess up, like time traveling stories., but it's harder to make it interesting because of the loop. If it's entertaining and creative enough it can be a lot of fun, or even dramatic. Also, yes, time loop stories gets better after rewatching it. I mean if the writing is good, obv. :D

I will add to my PTW, but not sure when I'm gonna watch it, there's a LOT of stuff in it already, and I rewatch dramas sometimes too. That's why I can't watch shows weekly, I always change my mind what to watch. XD

Time traveling is my fave genre, so I'm very critical, and in LR there were so many dumb plot holes and mistakes, especially in the finale with all the let's reset time, but people will remember you anyway, because we need a happy ending, but who cares if it makes sense. :D

And I didn't mention the crime part of the story.

I saw it advertised as a Comedy Drama, so I went in not expecting realism to begin with and it worked. My favorite…
I'm not "hell-bent" on it, but I expect some realism, especially when it's about the most basic things. That's all.

I don't think saying: "Just turn off your brain and enjoy." is a good argument. You can enjoy a movie or a show, even if they do it properly or better.

This is why Marvel and blockbuster movies in general are loved, because people don't care about the story and the details anymore.

"I mean, dramas can't even portray high school accurately, so they definitely won't get a hospital right. 😏"

True! 🤣

If the writing is good, I don't really about much, unless it's a time-traveling show. That's where I draw the line. So many writers messing up their own rules, Lovely Runner is one of the prime example.

You can literally watch reactions on YT from actual doctors saying the same thing, but sure, live in your delulu drama land if you want.

If the script is good and fun, I can ignore the rest. Youn Jung is the only reason I'm watching this, so I hope it's at least a decent fun.

Sure, it's a comedy, but still, a little realism wouldn't hurt anyone. Saying, it's just a comedy is just a lazy excuse for bad writing, honestly. I only watch this because I love Go Youn Jung, but that's all. I will give them 2-3 more episodes because it's not boring or anything like that, but there are so many other things I could watch if it's not gonna be better.

I don't think you know what residents mean. I'm not saying, they should do brain surgery or something. They don't know the most basic things! And like I said, the FL is NOT a 1st year resident, this is technically her 3rd year, if I remember correctly.

No, it's not realistic at all. Be serious, please, the FL don't know the most basic things in the OR or as a OBGYN. They're 1st year RESIDENTS, not MEDICAL STUDENTS, and technically the FL is not even 1st year resident! The guy thought some patient's skull was cracked because she had a runny nose, and I could go on, even tho I only watched the 1st episode.
On Resident Playbook May 24, 2025
What on Earth is this show? I watched the 1st episode, but it's like a Medical Parody. Who the heck hires residents like them? They don't know the most basic things.

I mean, it's not bad, but it's not realistic at all.

Title Death's Game Part 2 Spoiler
First of all, if you commit suicide, you're SELFISH, period! There's nothing to argue about this! Doing that,…
That's the point of the show actually, he didn't live in hell, he just had a tough life, but it's not like he was alone, he has a mom, and a girlfriend who didn't leave him even when he didn't have a normal job for 7 years.

I get that he's felt like that, but it's still selfish to commit suicide, and it's just an easy way out. You can live your own life, but it's not just your life, unless you live alone, and you don't care about anyone else, you don't have anyone. I'm not judging his pain, I've had the same problem for many years, I have 3 different jobs still. Life is not easy, but I would never kill myself.

FL's death was destined only because he died, if he didn't die, the other guy would never have met with her or talking about past lives etc. ML is the main reason FL died. The ending basically means, he changed the past, and now it's a different timeline. Also, we can't say for sure that everything Death said is true, because she only wanted to teach him a lesson.

Don't forget, she also said, he can escape death, there's a way, but all of the other characters died, because there wasn't a way out, except for his mom.

The show is not really straightforward like most drama.

Title Death's Game Part 2 Spoiler
So many people don't understand this show. So, here's some explanation:
First of all, if you commit suicide, you're SELFISH, period! There's nothing to argue about this! Doing that, literally, means you only care about yourself. Life is not only about you. Death may be not likable at first, but she told him everything from the beginning! He just didn't pay attention, like many of you. You can't change anything, it's bound to happen anyway, but that doesn't mean you have to give up!

About the ending. Many people are confused because of the serial killers, the potential death of FL and so on. The whole reason FL died, because ML killed himself. If he's not doing that, they could live a happier life. That's the whole reason Death give him a 2nd chance. She wouldn't be talking to the other guy if ML is alive!

About the killers: His father knew everything, eventually he would take down his son. Not sure about the other killer, tho.

Even if both can run free, well, the show isn't about happy ending and fixing the problems he did in the other 11 lives. The show is about teaching him a lesson about life. You can't fix everything, you just need to live.

BTW, Death never said, he can't keep his memories, can't save his girlfriend or can't stop the killers.

So, this is basically an open ending.

Great acting, lead actors, but overall the story is a MESS in the second part of the season. It's kinda insulting…
Honestly, it would've been better if it's not a happy end, if the dear writer only gives them and us a 2 minute long scene with them. Like that was like a spitting in our face.

Title Moon River
Ironically this is actually slightly longer, with 14 episodes. Most dramas nowadays are 12 or even 8 episodes…
That's why I said, not in every case, but usually shorter shows better written because the story is not stretched out. To be fair, it's all on the writers, if the writer is not good it doesn't matter how long a show is.

But usually with 16 episodes long (or more) dramas, they solve everything in the last 2 episodes, the first 8 episodes are basically the build-up and the rest is filler.

The funny thing is, most of my fave historical dramas are longer than 30-40 episodes, but only because it's not a fantasy, but episodic slice of life, like "Hur Jun 2013" 135 episodes or "Queen Seon Deok" 62 episodes. When you mix historical dramas with fantasy, it can't be longer than 16 episodes, because they always mess up the story in a way. Like Alchemy of Souls, it's a good show, but the 2nd season was 100% unnecessary. They could've done the whole story in 20 episodes.

Yeah, and half the season is a filler without actual story. I prefer shorter shows because it looks better, the budget can be spent better, and the story can be better written as well. Not in every case but still.

The murder mystery in this drama wasn’t needed at all. And some people were criticizing the romance between…
It just shows the hypocrite side of people. Most Kdrama fans and people in general loves the typical cute romance with pretty lead actors. They don't care about representation or anything else. They rate shows 10 if the leads are cute enough.
On Crash Course in Romance May 18, 2025
It was a pretty good drama, and it was a lot of fun, but the crime story was annoying a bit, they didn't do a good job with that.

But they did a great job with the most important story-lines: the mother-daughter duo, and the whole school system was well-written.

Overall, it was a predictable show, I mean, everything that happened I saw it from miles away. When I say, everything, I mean, literally every plot in the series, but it's still worth the watch.
