8/10 is not a low rating. It's a great rating.
People like to overrate everything, that's why I don't care about the rating at all anymore. The critical thinking is dead, especially on MDL. People think 5-6/10 = crap, but that's just average, not bad. Also, most people rate dramas based on the romance. They don't care about the writing and the story at all. I only finished a lot of dramas, especially back in the days because my fave actors were in it, but I never rate those higher than 7 usually.

the rating is just too low! is it that bad?
It's 7.7, almost 8/10 that's not a low rating. Kdrama fans have to learn there are 10 numbers we can use, not just 9 and 10, and everything below 9 isn't low.

Great drama, amazing acting. Confused at the low rating. Perfect ending, was satisfying and enjoyable throughout.

It took me almost a whole YEAR to finish these 8 episodes, and I think that says it all. The first 4 episodes were slow as hell, even for me who likes slow burn stories. The last 2 or 3 episodes were great, but honestly, the finale was absolute nonsense. I don't get why they had to put this in the same universe with "Moving". As a story about life and death etc would've been enough.

What's the best part of this drama? The fact that we're gonna get another season.

Jokes aside. It's a really strong drama about a mother-daughter relationship, and that's all you need. Everything is else just a bonus. It's not perfect if we think about everything else, but who cares? That's not important. I was here for the main duo.

Also, the finale was such an emotional rollercoaster.

On Oh My Geum Bi Nov 7, 2025
Great drama overall, but they included too many sub plots and the writing was all over the place sometimes. Some parts are really irritating, especially the once when Geumbi can do anything alone and no one calls the police or her dad or anyone.

Other than these it's definetaly worht the watch, but they could've done a better job.

Well, "till now" or not, I don't get the point of rate anything till we actually finish it or drop it. As I said, most Kdrama fans only know 3 ratings: 8, 9, and 10. If a show is rating 8.5 they already scream: "Why is this so underrated?"😂

Be serious please. VIKI is the prime example what's wrong with Kdrama fans. Every freakin' show has 9+ rating. They give 10 points even if they says stuff like: "It's not the best but it's still a 10." MDL is basically the same and it has nothing to do with teens. People don't know how to rate in general. They give 10 if the male lead is cute or the romance is cute they don't care about the story at all. They rate shows based on the romance and their fave actors.

Rating a show 10 after 4 EP is also childish and ridiculous.

The cast is great, whish I could say the same about the writing. Even tho it's a decent Kdrama and kinda addictive as well, the time traveling plot was all over the place, 100s of plot holes and a lot of things doesn't make sense. The characters made the same stupid mistakes every time, and we never really got any answers about the time travel plot. I mean, I have a theory, but it still doesn't make sense, because they're not the only 2 people who were on that train.

Anyway, it's a good watch, The two main lead carries the whole thing, especially Shin Minah. This is your typical, predictable but likable Kdrama.

On Second Shot at Love Oct 28, 2025
It's your average Kdrama with really good and sadly bad parts. Only 12 episodes, and I felt they wasted so much potential. Alcoholism was basically like plot device like any other plot device in romcoms. To be fair, I don't Koreans would love it if they delve into this topic deeper. The ending with the nurse was predictable since the begging but other than these, I can't say it's a bad drama and people shouldn't watch it, because it was a nice 12 hours. Just don1t expect too much.

It is on Hulu now.
Doesn't really matter if it's only available in 5 countries. Like, I don't even understand the point of this. Not a good way to make money if they exclude 90% of the Kdrama fandom.

I gave it a 1 because the 10s are just as exaggerated. Someone has to balance the scale
Read my review first than you can argue with me. That's a REAL review unlike yours.

No offense but Netflix don't make Kdramas. Koreans do. Netflix only gives them money.
I work in the entertainment industry, I even worked for Netflix, Disney etc, and they're just distributors, they don't say a single word about the script or who they should hire.

Also, let's not act as if non-Netflix Kdramas are perfect. Not to mention, you're a hypocrite because you have multiple Netflix shows on your list that you rate 10/10.

Again, there's no real criticism in your so called review. I watch Korean shows and movies for 20 YEARS, and you can see how many 10/10 I gave. Balancing out idiots means you're an idiot as well.

Ma'am -or sir, whatever-, i want you to imagine some scenarios with me respectfully:-1- if some company decides…
"So, just because you BELIEVE that there's no evidence of god, idlis or any other biblical creature don't give you the right to use OTHER BELIEFS than you in a mere fictional k drama"

The same can be said about you and everyone else who want to hate on a show because of the character name. It's ridiculous and childish, doesn't matter how you put it.

"Nah bro, you defended the drama, but you did it smartly and nonchalantly by saying "the FIRST EPISODE was great and funny", this is a form of expression your feelings towards the drama -or at least the first episode- and it's also a form of defensiveness"

Again, your lack of reading comprehension is really irritating. I would say the same thing about ANY OTHER SHOW, because rating something 1/10 without writing a proper review is bullshit and just pure hate. And 99% of people only give 1/10 because they're obsessed about their religion.

If I'm defending the show, you're defending crazy people.

"maybe because the main topic of the story has been taken/inspired by their religion and culture and when they watch -even the cilps of it-, they saw the disrespect they ofc got mad???
I don't need to watch a full episode, let alone a whole drama, to see and decide 'this is very disrespectful'
and i will say it again, you don't get to dictate people who doesn't like this drama and to the people who got offended by it 'if you don't like it, don't watch it'

Again, if you didn't watch the show, you have ZERO RIGHT to judge it. It's like saying, I can judge you based on something simple like what other people said. NONSENSE, and STUPID! You don't know if they actually disrespected anyone because you didn't watch it. And it's like Muslims never disrespected anyone.

You know what, I think you're stupid and a cultist and I can say that safely, because if you can't judge a show without watching the whole thing, I don't have to know you at all to judge you. 😉

Also, I don't dictate anything or anyone. You can dislike anything or anyone, but without giving a proper explanation, it's just HATE, nothing more! I'm pretty sure one of the main RULE of your book is "Don't hate and judge others" right?

"So can i write anything 'immoral' or 'disrespectful' towards a group of people with 'fiction' tag?"

Yes, you can, that's what FICTION means. It's not real, so you can't disrespect anyone, because people with functional brain can understand it's not true.

If I say, a romantic relationship is disrespectful for me because of XYZ reason, can I moan about it like you? I mean, if you can, I can do it too right? So let's ban every romcoms on Earth because I feel disrespected, because that's not how real love looks like in real life. Goblins don't exist, ghost can't fall in love etc.😂

Anyway, we talked about, we're never gonna be on the same page so waste someone else's time. Thank you.
