How many times do we see an event but what we see is in fact incomplete and changes when another POV is added and we see that the outcome is totally different than what we first believed. Case in point is grandmas dream about the ring I think the finale will be the same. We are being told Gwijoo will die but we will see the full story and true outcome.

For me the biggest takeaway in episode 10 is that once again, our first perception of tragic events end up not being what we first thought they were. So I am thinking we think we understand somewhat what happened 13 years ago, but only the one who was there knows what happened. Look at how many times they play a pivotal scene from 2 points of view. When we see the full story it makes perfect sense in terms of not only what happened, but its importance to the plot. This writer is bringing it on a very high level and I am loving it. So I am also looking at the very first scene in episode 1 of how our leads connected in an event.

The excellence of this drama is astounding. Terrific writing to make moments of when past and present converge, touching scenes with give me the deep feels as they are powerful moments - be it father and daugher, or ML and FL... combined with great directing, cinematography and the perfect underscoring throughout the drama... hard to believe it concludes next week as each episode more powerful than the previous ones. These are not simplistic characters, in fact, very flawed. But we get to understand them, and love them, flaws and all.

what was interesting is that in an earlier episode "uncle" was videotaping grandpa. so will the scammer thwart the other scammer or is it part of the same scheme?

she tells him in prison she doesn't want to see him, I think she even had divorce papers drawn up and was especially harsh in rejecting him, telling him to move on. So for a man to move on, she is the one who pushed it. Where it gets sad/bad is that he had the one night stand with the sister - which then is a betrayal. But I find it weird that what she wants others to forgive, and what she will or wont forgive. But she sets in motion everything by not leaving the gate closed - and pushing him away. So I don't want to blame her, but those are plot points that were uncomfortable for me. The husband had to endure so much in this drama as well, from all sides, and so he is drawn as a complex character who although had done wrong, had done a lot right and I sympathize with his situation as well as the FL

The ratings for this drama is bonkers. This is really refreshingly different - sort of Moving x Parasite. For some reason because the dialogue is almost trolling the viewers to hate them, I sense a redemptive arc for the grifters.

Because they show that they both lived well. they both lived a long life. And, she kept her promise that she made to be his angel. She was there to greet him and their love was eternal. I thought it was stunning, and had me crying as I hope my husband is there to greet me when I finally catch up to him.

It was. It artfully wove in many of the answersto questions we were seeking through flashbacks and revelations. Heartfelt moments that made me cry. Self aware humor making fun of what genre the battle to capture control and the throne of Queen group. Making fun of misunderstanding due to poor communication (older sister). I loved it

I have a hunch they may use her MP3 player. In real life, music has a way of reaching deep memories and helps "wake people up" I saw how this is used for alzheimers patients, etc.
