i think this is the first drama i’ve watched where the protagonists haven’t really “won” since the beginning…
I'd say Li Lun is all talk but he won't do it lmao. Also, from what I've seen from the mv and the leaks, seems to me that Li Lun will give the truth eye to Zhuo Yi Chen (just like Zhu Yan did with Li Lun) so that Zhuo Yi Chen can save/help Zhu Yan with this power. So, most likely, Li Lun will surely end up sacrificing himself. (This is only my takes from the previews and leaks and other infos we got, can't wait to see if I'm wrong or not haha but the story will be sad FOR SURE)
The ships possible in this show is insane and I'm loving it. The story and the quality is REALLY GOOD so far <33333333 ! I can't wait to know more but I'm scared of the way the story will destroy us in the saddest way :)))

I watched it too. I'm not one to watch something or not based on someone else's opinion but she was right about some things but it's still a good drama even if there is clearly a few things that could have been better. BUT, I must say... They totally had me with the trailer because they kind of sold something that is not entirely there in the drama like this is not what I expected haha because with the trailer I expected something more idk crazy?? Based on the trailer since they presented us with a crazy ML. Still a good watch tho.
Just learned from Shui Qian Cheng that Beloved Enemy got licensed for a thai drama adaptation but she doesn't have a say in who they cast.. Don't know how to feel about this I just hope it's well adapted..
If the director made a drama or movie with bl characters I think it would be well adapted, although I don't doubt…
I'm sorry but from what I've seen in the new mv it looks like Li Lun can't let his ex-bff (ex-lover ) Zhao Yuan Zhou move on with his new life and new lover lmao
I don't think they'll follow the novel fully, they already don't follow the novel especially with with these 2 episodes. They "erased" an important part of Jiang Tian's character too so..
I've seen some hate comments already about the show :)) and from people who didn't even read the novel and saying a lot of bullshit lmao. Seriously just don't watch the show if it bothers you :)) People are complaining about not having uncensored danmei adapted but when there is finally a few of them people are complaining and saying it would be better if it's censored like wth ???
You haven't read a lot (or none) of danmei novels (chinese bl) to say something like that :))) because there is A LOT of good stories and I can make you a VERY long list of good novels I would like to see adaptated but because of the censorship they won't. You can't judge danmei based on only these two dramas especially if you don't know anything about danmei. And I don't know if you are aware of this but this drama is the adaptation of the first danmei novel of Shui Qian Cheng and she is known to write stories like that where the ML will suffer the consequences of his own actions toward the MC in the end. She writes toxic relationship this is her thing but don't say all danmei are like that wtf. "I am glad that they are banned." ?? People are literally trying to fight censorship and Personally, I've seen similar things with thai bls and strangely no one say anything like that about thai bl ?? Then, if I judge thai bl dramas based on a few of them with similar problematic stuff then I could say the same about thai bls :))) I could say that thai bls is all about NC scenes with no storyline at all so it better be censored and banned as you said then if this is the reasoning you all have. Tired of people saying "censored things are better" wth.

Like some of you are capable to make the difference bewteen fiction/reality when it comes to darker, problematic thai bl dramas but not when it comes to other countries apparently. I'm not saying that everyone should love this kind of drama but just stop with your "censored things are better" bullshit. Like you are saying you wouldn't have loved "The Untamed" or "Word Of Honor" if the dramas were not censored and followed the novels ???
The tags for this drama is not helping clearing all the confusions for people who just discovered the drama... the genres are kinda wrong bc BL is missing and in the "country" part it only includes Thailand 😅
