I like the reaction from the FL when she doesn't see him in the mirror... instead of some romantic cliche, we got her expression of horror 🤣🤣 I like it very much.

I'm looking forward to ML's and Fl's character development (including ML and his daughter), but not really interested in any romance between the leads.

I had issues with that too. In the novel, the FL is exactly the same.

Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but was it the FL and her "family's" plan to harass the ML's daughter in ep2?

finally a drama with a flawed FL! No idea why people are upset with that... Anyway, I really like this drama with the first two episodes. Excited to see Jang ki Yong in full dad mode. For now I'm more interested in the scenes between father and daughter, even though the other characters and their stories are far from boring P.S. do I really have to wait a whole week for two
new episodes???

This drama is really enjoyable to watch even though I'm not happy with some directions the scriptwriters took regarding writing.

this is my first Xukai drama and I have to say that YZM has become my favorite character. He has struggles I really can relate to. He's far from perfect, and has to learn a lot of things, but it doesn't make him unworthy of anything.

I think the one thing the drama has to explain is why YZM owes the Zhang lady... why did she save his life and how did she do that?

the mother will definitely not like him. With FL' first boyfriend - she tried everything in her power to get them married and now with the ML, it's probably the opposite. I wonder why she so antagonistic towards him... maybe because he can fight back and has a backbone, instead of being a obedient son in law (like FL ex boyfriend)?

People said this is more a realistic drama, but the characters who actually feel real are not very much. There are more people in this world who experience loneliness and abandonment (ML) than a family who loves and cares about you (FL).

Personally, the journey of ML about how to accept the warm side of humanity is far more interesting to me than how to run a hotel.

But it will be interesting to see how FL will handle her mother's ongoing nagging and unbearable behavior...

I'm honest... it's a bit disappointing.

it seems like FL brother is the only one who will achieve things through his own hard work.

I like that drama, but I somehow wished that the grandma would not be rich and give them what they need the most. It takes some struggles away from Fl & ML.
