I think the system tried the whole time to save Ziqi's life. Only when Miaomiao guides him to learn the meaning of hope and faith - can he find this for himself and can start to feel the will to live. He was the whole time on the edge of death, and most likely wouldn't have survived the surgery if not for Miaomiao and her influence.

i totally agree with you. Ziqi's book was written when he was 13/14 years old... And it's beautiful. I'm really touched.

I like the fact that Miaomiao, after returning to her world, has still a pretty dull and average life. Her father is still dead and she's not really good at her job.

I have the feeling that they wanted that the focus stays on Miaomiao, but now it seems the ending and it's feeling payed a price for that...🤷‍♀️

The ending is brilliant, in my eyes. I understand that people seems to be frustrated with the romance part, and that's okay.

I'm just so happy about that they included the author (FuZhou) in this drama. His story touched me on a deep level. Ziqi's depression and his disbelief in happiness and hope feels so real to me.

I'm in love with this drama and will soon rewatch it.

Imo, he was half-bad. Sacrificing all these people + that little girl, because he thought it was the "right" thing to do.

theory: what if Fu Zhou (the author) didn't transmitted into the game and became Mu Sheng, but Musheng got for some reason reborn as Fu Zhou in MiaoMiao's world. But he cannot meet Miaomiao until she transferred into the game and got out of it, so that she would know who he is... He took the writer name "Fu Zhou" because Miaomiao told him about it (ep26). It's a bootstrap paradox.

if there's no kiss at all... that's disappointing. I really have no idea about why they would not include kiss scenes. Could it be about the characters age or something?

I'm really looking forward to more backstory of Ziqis' mom. I think in the novel she was not always nice to Ziqi and had to do sad things to get food for both of them. no idea how the novel will portray it.

what if Fu Zhou is just the author and not ziqi himself?

if she's the resentful women and already a "villain" in ep28 ... who would be the final villain?

Liu Fuyi's backstory got me worried about the moment MuYao gets to know that Ziqi is the son of the person she hates the most and wants to kill. Despite her acceptance that he is half demon - I think her accepting that Ziqi is the child of resentful woman will be a lot harder for her.
