I do like the pairing of JXB and YNX. I cannot wait until he can fully see her, but doesn't she know that he has "face blindness?" If she is a doctor, can't she help? Did I miss that conversation?

Number 1, SHJ did not have to say anything with regards to her relationship with LJH at all to YJS. She did that out of respect and the relationship that they had over the years to tell him. WSH caused all of this drama because she felt she deserved more "accolades" for what she did at the academy, and let's be clear the biggest issue, she just didn't like SHJ. SHJ nor LJH had to tell anyone if they were in a relationship or not.
Number 2, YJS could have manned up at ANY given time to SHJ telling her how he felt because LJH came in long after he was there. It is not HER problem, nor should it be that he didn't have the balls to tell her his true feelings.
Number 3, How was YJS deceived? Seriously, I would have been too ticked off at this guy. He is comparing right now apples to oranges asking if he would have told her his feelings would there have been a different outcome. Sorry, I don't have a crystal ball because he never told her! Dude is so way off base. He is ticked and throwing unnecessary stones due to his incompetence of not stepping up.
Number 4, because YJS felt he was an idiot about everything he decides to put them our couple on blast. I would be like, and your point. It's true. Everyone carry on. Done!
Number 5, LMJ stealing the files and that was no surprise there. He looks sneaky. I hope he backstabs WSH. He looks like the type to play both sides.
The thing that really angers me is that YSJ in a fit of rage and jealousy took information that WSH gave him and misconstrued it to the group. He knows what is true and false. But because he wanted to find a way to get back at her, he put it out there. Now, SHJ and LJH have to try and defend their position and it really is null and void at this point because everyone has already formed an opinion, which is sad.
I am so glad she told him that she loved him because that right there, solidified their relationship and left no more doubt in his mind that they were going to go through this together. He now, in my opinion, felt the confidence to weather the storm that they were going to face as a couple. Can he kiss or what? Goodness.

I like PSS the high school teacher. He is different and follows his own drummer. That is why he and the Gray Witch are not going to make it. To see LHJ crying, man, I feel him. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders that he is trying to stay strong not only for himself, her, but really everyone. But to get a beat down like they both were getting; it is hard not to lash out.
As they say, it gets worse before it gets better, and I believe more is coming, but these two have to continue communicating and stay in sync. @mjcsfla1 I have some further predictions: 1. BMJ is going to go to GJD to get the surgery to change PDR's face back to who she was. No matter what the cost. He will get it done. The price he will as BMJ is to marry PDR. 2. Mid-30s I believe PDR's memory will come back either, getting hit on the head, locked up by GJD, or her mother slapping her and/or arguing with her. 3. BMJ is going to get PDR back in the industry and PDS will be right back working for her too. I can see this will cause problems with GMD who he is dating. 4. GJD and BMJ will get together and make an announcement that PDR is alive. After GJD and BMJ have spent an extended amount of time getting PDR prep they will then make the announcement and the "story" to tell the press how she is alive. Of course, it will be GJD never gave up hope she was alive, and he has had her in a facility due to her memory loss. This will make the public love her and she will be the "it" girl once again. He will also be the man at that time he will say is going to marry her. 5. JSY will get divorced and lose GJT and PS. GJT will be mad at JSY for having MR blatantly lie to him knowing who PS was but also all the years during their marriage she never felt the need to divulge this information to him. The dominion effect will now be on with PS' family particularly with KSY who raised him as her son. 6. PDJ will be happy to see that his sister PDR is alive. I think that he will tell her the truth about things and BMJ and PDS will try, I believe from stopping him from telling her. 7. PS will come back into the picture once her memory is restored. I think this will be when the wedding of GJD and her take place that she will leave him at the altar. 8. PS will find out about JSY either overhearing a conversation between her and MR or her on the phone or from someone who finds out about their connection. I think if he finds out this way, he definitely will confront her.

My prediction is the mother is going to take over PDR's career again. All of PDR's family will get back together. She is going to have her have plastic surgery to look how she did before. Her mother is going to go back to how she was. PS will go through anxiety when he finds out about who is his real mother. MR will start liking PDR's other brother that is the driver for her. The aunt and PDR's oldest brother will break up and then make up. GJD will just lose his mind because PDR will pick PS in the end. Another kidnapping of course. Fake wedding by one of the leads. Divorce with MR's parents. We have to have another girl come in to like PS.
I think both NYW and LSR are evenly matched psychologically. I mean, LSR spent how much time laying out all of this plan. That says something about her tenacity to prove to NSW that her family is not that perfect as she thought and what she is shelling out, she wasn't taking home.
LSR had to find someone to blame for everything that had unfolded in her family and along the way picking up "weak minded" allies to do her bidding. NYW was the perfect choice to go after since all of those she had chosen felt she was the cause for all of their issues not only with themselves but their families as well.
I believe she knows that she will eventually be caught but how much damage has she inflicted to NYW's family that they truly will come back from it all. To her, that is enough of a victory if NYW's family is suffering because everything else that she may face doesn't matter, she has proved her point. To LSR, let the chips fall where they may after that. But, with her mindset, she will still find a way to take all of her pawns and sacrifice them before herself. She will always come out on top.

Episode 36 - Marriage, General and House Arrest
So, it went down. EPR married LJ aka Lunatic Joker. He knew she was going to be a piece but on the wedding night when they went to do the whole wedding cup thing, girlfriend slapped him HARD. You know Lunatic Joker was ticked. He wanted to haul off and hit her, but he chilled.
EPR is already starting to have pains but I'm not sure if she "lost" the "supposed baby" or not or if she is pretending that she still has it to keep SYR on the hook with her.
XH was all about laying it out to Poison Ivy that it's not happening, he wasn't marrying her so guess what? I'll just take my chances and die.
JL got to meet the general who is XH's grandfather. XH was none too happy that he was in his crib because he still faults him for not investigating the death of his father. High tensions there.
We had SYR doing some sneaky stuff because he was looking up poison. Was he trying to figure out the whole pregnancy thing. EPR rolled up to SYR's crib and he had to calm her crazy ass down because he told her that Lunatic Joker was born with a golden spoon, and to chill with her high maintenance attitude. She is still holding on to his weak promises of an engagement when Lord Cheng takes over. The girl is just so sad, really, she is. She can't see that she is being played.
Then FAE was on the hook with all of the council because of the moves that XH made with the imperial guard office and the armory. Folks were hot because he tortured the guy. With all the complaints against him, FAE had no choice but to ground his ass for 2 days. Say what? My man is off the chess board right now.
Lunatic Joker confronted EPR about knowing she snuck off to see SYR and he was none too happy but what was he going to do. He is only a pawn of a consort. Stay in your lane!
Episode 37 - Li Family, Miscarriage and Reunion
EPR was a hot mess where Lunatic Joker was concerned. I mean, she was just nasty to him. Lunatic Joker put up with a lot from her. She told him that she wanted him to wash her feet. He looked at her like, "I know you didn't just say to wash your feel. I don't think so." But when she threatened him with Daddy Li. Oh, he got on board with that real quick.
But can we talk about how FINE, I mean FINE XH was looking all in white, hair down and flowing under house arrest! Yes! He was looking too good. I know I would be staying with him for those 2 days. Drag me out from him. Goodness.
Grandpa Heng and XH finally with the pushing of JL had a family reunion. Why am I hearing the song "Family Reunion by the O'Jays right not)? Anyway, Grandpa Heng gave XH the 4-1-1 on what happened back then with his father. He knew that LC killed his son, but he played along with everything because of him. Grandpa knew what time was and he too, is all about getting revenge for his son. JL did a good job bringing them back together and at least XH was opened to it. So much so until he told Grandpa to stay at his crib to be safe.
Lunatic Joker just couldn't understand that EPR was just as crazy as him. Seriously, they would make a good couple, if they gave each other a chance. But Lunatic Joker snapped, I mean snapped when she was giving him that shrimp and told him to eat after it fell on the floor. Dude went off. Told her he was not a dog like SYR, ok? I mean the fight was epic with the flipping of the whole table of food by EPR.
You know it was going to happen, you got it, EPR miscarried. The drama was high. Daddy Li rushed over, and Lunatic Joker was quaking in his shoes. He just sentenced the whole family to death. I'm telling you Daddy Li was just about to lose his mind because he was seeing his whole family being exterminated. Slapped Lunatic Joker. Man, he is always getting slapped or kicked.
Lunatic Joker decided to sacrifice and tell EPR that he would die because he took the life of her child, well, here comes Daddy Li telling her he only has one son, since we all know the other one is a monk. You know EPR was down with that. Picked up the sword and girlfriend went to swinging. But Daddy Li brought his backup of soldiers and was like, "Hell naw, bitch, you are not about to kill my son." Enter SYR, "You all need to stop acting crazy and calm the hell down. JL set a trap and we all fell into it. So just stop!" Everybody looked at him and said, "What did you say?" Oh, they hot when he told them the deal.
Yeah, JL got exposed now. XH tells JL he will be her pawn now. LC got the pigeon messages and the latest one from EPR to bring it on because she basically told him, "I am pissed as hell, and we need to turn this mother out." LC told his boys, "Let's ride and do the damn thing. We got an emperor to kill."
Episode 38 - Survival of the Fittest
SYR goes to see LC and his plan -- kill EPR and frame FAE for it. Say what? Oh, hell naw! Don't be bringing down FAE. These are fighting words people! But you know that SYR is up to no good because he wants EPR out of his life. LC comes up with a plan to fake her death. Come on, really? SYR says he will give her the potion (wink-wink) to kill her, but we will let dumbass LC think he is giving her the fake stuff. You know SYR is so happy on this plan. He can't wait to get rid of her.
Now, the strategizing went down at the ancestral temple of Consort Li Yunxian where EPR and LC went to pay their respects to her. Here comes Daddy Li bringing the plan for the smackdown to take place during the banquet. The evil trio were making sure everything was covered. But hold up, not to be outdone was our boy XH along with WJ and LJ his subordinates to get their plan on point. Everybody was getting ready for this chess game you all!
Ok, when I saw the moment of XH and JL hanging out under the tree having some tea, I just knew, knew I was going to see some action. But guess what? Fooled again. I am OVER the foreplay people! Can we see the kiss? Love the whole stare each other down, but dang, do it with the lips. I can't with these two. Another hug...sigh!
Loved the heart-to-heart talk that JYB had with Grandma Jiang. My man has really suffered for his fam. For real. Gotta feel for the man because I think he is going to make a big sacrifice for his fam. Choking up if we lose JYB.
EPR killed the late emperor her father. Wow!! Smothered him with a pillow. Then walked out like nothing happened.
OMG!!! ZK got chloroformed and taken down by the Third Master Jiang. JL got a fake note to go to XH to discuss something. She figured out that it wasn't ZK but a fake but by that time it was too late. XH had his guards following her, but they got all jacked up. She was knocked out and put in a jail cell by EPR. Can they just kill her already please!
Episode 39 - SYR's Uprising, Banquet, Rebellion
The real ZK escapes and gets to XH and tells him that the Third Master Jiang confessed to him that he was threatened by EPR. XH, you know he is pissed but he still is holding it together because he knows it is a diversion to pull him and his men away from FAE. Guess who steps up to save JL--hell yeah, Grandpa Heng. My man had on his army gear and was ready to go get his granddaughter-in-law. Giddup Grandpa!!!
Meanwhile, SYR is going rogue and doing his own thing. He gives one of EPR's maid some soup he made because she was looking all weak since the whole fake miscarriage. She is all happy because in her twisted mind she things he cares. Girlfriend, he doesn't. He just poisoned your ass! Down in the cell, SYR is chloroforming JL because, oh you already know, he still loves her and is just a nut now.
Confrontation at last. As SYR was carrying JL out, EPR is standing in the rain. She asks SYR if he ever loved her and how will he face her brother because he poisoned her. He basically told her she was a pawn, and her brother needed an excuse to have the rebellion and she was it. JL does wake up, but she can't move because of the drug he gave her. SYR stands in front of EPR who takes that big ass tree branch of a hairpin he gave her and hands it back to him, but guess what? She stabs herself, not once but twice. SYR is shocked because he didn't see that coming. Now, he is really a murderer because she set him up. Told him that she would wait for him in hell. How about that! Last words to SYR from EPR. So, what is he going to tell LC. This was not the plan. Oh damn!
Oh snap! We have SYR in the carriage with JL, who is telling her that he will take out XH and that they will now be together. Boy, bye! It is not happening. Snap out of it. Honestly, he is just a loss cause at this point. I guess let him believe he will make in the end, but we know he won't. Ok, let's carry on. SYR now has the damn fishtail talisman, and he controls the Longwu Army. He hates XH to his bones, so he asks LC for it. Oh man! Dude needs to die for real now!
SYR takes EPR's body to Lunatic Joker's crib and he is like, "WTH did you do." SYR tells him to stay on the plan and he will confess later that he was the one that killed her. Lunatic Joker was like, "You better because I am not going down for this, no sir, I am not. " Lunatic Joker put on the best performance as he was taking her out of the crib, smiling when he put the cloth over her head. Man, he is so happy that she is dead, he doesn't know what to do.
Here comes Grandpa Heng and Lai Baio who was under his command to get JL back. Yes, it was too good! He told Lai Baio that he was going to leave it up to the young folks to fight, he was going to take JL. I love Grandpa and LB is too fine. These men...mercy!
Ok, so here comes Lunatic Joker into the banquet carrying EPR's dead body, screaming and yelling the FAE killed her. Now, how the hell was that even possible when he JUST walked out a few seconds before Lunatic Joker came in. People you cannot be that dumb. I guess any reason to start the rebellion. Daddy Li looked the most shocked because he saw she was really dead.
FAE had to leave CL because LC wanted to follow him, and they needed to get him out. Everyone in the banquet was arguing because they wanted to investigate EPR's death because of what CL said. The guards took her out.
Rebellion is on people!! LC gave his big speech. Told them all they better get on board the "LC for Emperor" train, or you better just get ready to die. One of the men spoke up, killed him really quick. Guess what? They got on that train.
We had Daddy Jiang vs Daddy Li. Here comes Daddy Jiang backing up FAE with the men in black hats. Yes! Daddy Jiang was all that with his back up for FAE. He wasn't taking anymore from Daddy Li and kicked him, and they dragged his ass out.
WJ and Poison Ivy were doing it together because FABE decided to give over his peeps to help out FAE's folks in the capitol. Guess he decided that XH was for real, and he better give over his peeps or never hear the end of it from his sister, Poison Ivy.
FAE was protected by LJ (XH subordinate) and child, again those men in the black hats! Yes, they were on point. Love those guys.
Then XH and LC man that was a serious fight. But you know XH was going to kill him, but he had to "superman" out to go and see if all was cool with FAE. But LJ was holding it down with JYB and our men in black hats.
Finally, we have one flew over the cuckoo's nest SYR trying to kill our man XH because he had the fishtail talisman. I can't wait until he dies because he is so on my nerves. But before XH went to handle the Longwu Army, here comes Grandpa Heng with JL. Yes, she is coming in all majestic riding on the horse. XH about died when he saw her. He could at least be calm now and handle the business because she was there.
XH gets cornered and SYR commands the Longwu army to kill him.
Episode 40 - Check Mate - End Game
But here comes our gurl, yes, JL is coming for her man. Tells the Longwu army the names of those fallen warriors and they begin to hesitate to kill him. But SYR has the fishtail talisman so what can they do but follow the order.
SYR is just now crazy, seriously, one screw loose from begin fully crazy. Let me tell you, girlfriend picked up that bow and shot SYR in the hand and the talisman fell and Poison Ivy bounced on up and threw it to XH who now had control back once again.
SYR is now all defeated laying up against a column, hand all jacked up with an arrow in it talks with JL about killing him and she is like, I don't want to dirty my hands. She tells him in his next life, she hopes he is born noble and leaves. But you know we have to pull out that lute and start playing that "peach blossom" trek again as she walked down the steps, and the guards came to get him. Well, you know he couldn't take it and everything that had happened so, he jumped from the top of the tower. JL heard the thud, never turned around. Bye SYR!!!
Breakdown of deaths: Consort Li - Favorite Consort of FAE - self-inflicted LC - Lord Cheng at the hands of XH Daddy LI and Lunatic Joker - executed SYR's mother and sister - thrown out of their crib and sent back to their hometown. Third Master Jiang and his wife and children were expelled from the Jiang family register
Grandpa Heng and XH get along and he orders him to serve him tea and drinks on the grounds that he was seriously injured saving JL. Yeah right...too funny!
Peace in the Kingdom.
JL's father remembers everything. He tells her that he knows she suffered and wants them all to go back but she tells him no. She is still the second lady of the Jiang family, and she needs to clear stuff up. Her dad tells her that XH is a good man, and he agrees with her decision to be with him.
XH and JL have a talk about each other plans. She tells him that she wants to renovate his place. She has a soulmate, and he is right in front of her. He is smiling to beat the band. The get married.
JL and XH go to the peach blossom tree where they visit the graves of the real JL and Tong. She gives back the hairpin that JL gave her. She thanks her for handling everything and clearing her name.
Yes, they do at last -- kiss. But it is a minute before they do because she gives him a token to carry with him. They finally after 39 episodes--kiss. I love me some XH do you hear me? The man is fine, I can't say it enough.
But they have to be separated because he has to go put peace at the border but before he leaves, they plant a new tree.
JL has a heart-to-heart with Daddy Jiang. She tells him everything. He knew who she was and when he asked about his daughter and if she died alone. He broke me down, and then when he fell out on the desk. My man's heart was broken. You have to feel for the man.
All of the Jiang family is leaving the capitol, even JJR and LX left and the only one to stay was YSJ. He told her that he only wants to be her brother. Man, YSJ, is alone. All that cuteness. Sigh.
I am telling you all right now, you will cry, I mean cry to see the deaths of BOTH XH's subordinates, WJ and JL. It is so heartbreaking. He is devastated to see they both died. He said he would take them back. I was so upset over their deaths. It was too much. I still can't believe they died.
JL waits and the tree grows. She runs wearing all red to the tree and you hear in the distance the galloping of a horse and it is XH. He kept his promise. You see JL turn around....the end!

LRQ, I'm sorry still on the fence with him. That cheshire cat smile of his and making me feel like he just stepped out of Stephen King's IT, I still say he is shady. I think that he will get close to JSL but in the end, he may use her, or start using YNX's store as a front to start dealing. The whole shocked look of finding dude in the well, hmm, and then when JXB ask him about the writing, he just gives enough information that makes you not suspect him. I might be wrong, but I am keeping my eye on him.
I do like the pairing of JXB and YNX. I cannot wait until he can fully see her, but doesn't she know that he has "face blindness?" If she is a doctor, can't she help? Did I miss that conversation?
Wow, he seriously slept with that mask on. What gives.
The drama is insane with how he treats the FL. But in episode 6, can we talk about the bath...hmm
Yeah, definitely one that is not bad. And he is certainly too good on the eyes! Yes!
Number 1, SHJ did not have to say anything with regards to her relationship with LJH at all to YJS. She did that out of respect and the relationship that they had over the years to tell him. WSH caused all of this drama because she felt she deserved more "accolades" for what she did at the academy, and let's be clear the biggest issue, she just didn't like SHJ. SHJ nor LJH had to tell anyone if they were in a relationship or not.
Number 2, YJS could have manned up at ANY given time to SHJ telling her how he felt because LJH came in long after he was there. It is not HER problem, nor should it be that he didn't have the balls to tell her his true feelings.
Number 3, How was YJS deceived? Seriously, I would have been too ticked off at this guy. He is comparing right now apples to oranges asking if he would have told her his feelings would there have been a different outcome. Sorry, I don't have a crystal ball because he never told her! Dude is so way off base. He is ticked and throwing unnecessary stones due to his incompetence of not stepping up.
Number 4, because YJS felt he was an idiot about everything he decides to put them our couple on blast. I would be like, and your point. It's true. Everyone carry on. Done!
Number 5, LMJ stealing the files and that was no surprise there. He looks sneaky. I hope he backstabs WSH. He looks like the type to play both sides.
The thing that really angers me is that YSJ in a fit of rage and jealousy took information that WSH gave him and misconstrued it to the group. He knows what is true and false. But because he wanted to find a way to get back at her, he put it out there. Now, SHJ and LJH have to try and defend their position and it really is null and void at this point because everyone has already formed an opinion, which is sad.
I am so glad she told him that she loved him because that right there, solidified their relationship and left no more doubt in his mind that they were going to go through this together. He now, in my opinion, felt the confidence to weather the storm that they were going to face as a couple. Can he kiss or what? Goodness.
The more I watch this the madder I'm getting. I am sorry but I would not be begging any of these people. I thought corporate America was cutthroat, but this academy stuff is hands down the winner. WTH!
When things like this happen, you know who your friends are. I like MHJ. She is the only one who is trying to get things right.
I like PSS the high school teacher. He is different and follows his own drummer. That is why he and the Gray Witch are not going to make it. He has an embedded moral code that he will not ever stand by and see injustice in any form. I believe he is going to set everyone straight with regards to SHJ and LJH, but he is really going to fix that Gray Witches' ass.
NCM, I like her too. She just tells it like it is. Another one that I think will step up. She told LMJ she already knew about the relationship and what? That's what I'm talking about.
To see LHJ crying, man, I feel him. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders that he is trying to stay strong not only for himself, her, but really everyone. But to get a beat down like they both were getting; it is hard not to lash out.
As they say, it gets worse before it gets better, and I believe more is coming, but these two have to continue communicating and stay in sync. I can't wait to see them get WSH, LMJ, YSJ, set those parents straight and really that Gray Witch. I'm looking also for PKS (GW assistant) to do something too. Especially if he sees what the GW is doing for WSH coming to the academy.

I'm sorry but I don't like OYJ. She holds back information. I do wish that PTJ would have taken her out. I just don't like her. I get it about her daughter. But let's think about it, if her numbers would have been right, she would have taken the money and never said a word.
I still think HJS knows a lot more than what he is saying when he is with JJK and OYJ. He is like that guy that listens and takes everything in, but contributes here and there but again, knows more.
I have to say, WJS cracks me up! He is so over the top when he finds out intel after the fact. All the yelling and crazy eyes, just kill me.
KCS days are number. He really didn't think the whole plan through with going into the water. They are going to find him out. Yeah, we always said he was shaky from the beginning.
JJK is always running. He should seriously be tried and then trying to deal with coming off of the drugs. He is doing it.
We still have to deal with the gunshot wound that CEO Yoon took which I believe came from JJK's gun. How is that going to get covered up. Will JYJ cover for him?
I wish her and her soul mate, would have been more time together but other than that, it was a well scripted and executed drama.
Love the symbolization of the roses, each one I can adhere too.
Definitely, this is one to be recommended.
1. BMJ is going to go to GJD to get the surgery to change PDR's face back to who she was. No matter what the cost. He will get it done. The price he will as BMJ is to marry PDR.
2. Mid-30s I believe PDR's memory will come back either, getting hit on the head, locked up by GJD, or her mother slapping her and/or arguing with her.
3. BMJ is going to get PDR back in the industry and PDS will be right back working for her too. I can see this will cause problems with GMD who he is dating.
4. GJD and BMJ will get together and make an announcement that PDR is alive. After GJD and BMJ have spent an extended amount of time getting PDR prep they will then make the announcement and the "story" to tell the press how she is alive. Of course, it will be GJD never gave up hope she was alive, and he has had her in a facility due to her memory loss. This will make the public love her and she will be the "it" girl once again. He will also be the man at that time he will say is going to marry her.
5. JSY will get divorced and lose GJT and PS. GJT will be mad at JSY for having MR blatantly lie to him knowing who PS was but also all the years during their marriage she never felt the need to divulge this information to him. The dominion effect will now be on with PS' family particularly with KSY who raised him as her son.
6. PDJ will be happy to see that his sister PDR is alive. I think that he will tell her the truth about things and BMJ and PDS will try, I believe from stopping him from telling her.
7. PS will come back into the picture once her memory is restored. I think this will be when the wedding of GJD and her take place that she will leave him at the altar.
8. PS will find out about JSY either overhearing a conversation between her and MR or her on the phone or from someone who finds out about their connection. I think if he finds out this way, he definitely will confront her.

Exactly, why do they care? Especially the grandmother who I really wish they would write her out. She gets on my nerves. Oh, and how about the biological mother to PS. She has her nose in his business too. Which she needs to stay in her lane because of all of her secrets even having MR back her up and not say anything. I can't wait until she gets put on blast. Everyone is going to hate her.
Oh, how did you like how PDR's mother changed up all of that story so now she will go to GJD. But I highly think she won't. How about the brother? Just sitting there and letting the mother spin that story about PS. OMG! I was so mad. How worthless is he!
Yes, the do split up again. It's so annoying.
I think they will get back together before episode 50, I hope so because we only have what about 20+ episodes left. I can only imagine how long they can hold onto her not remembering.
My prediction is the mother is going to take over PDR's career again. All of PDR's family will get back together. She is going to have her have plastic surgery to look how she did before. Her mother is going to go back to how she was. PS will go through anxiety when he finds out about who is his real mother. MR will start liking PDR's other brother that is the driver for her. The aunt and PDR's oldest brother will break up and then make up. GJD will just lose his mind because PDR will pick PS in the end. Another kidnapping of course. Fake wedding by one of the leads. Divorce with MR's parents. We have to have another girl come in to like PS.
Thoughts?
LSR had to find someone to blame for everything that had unfolded in her family and along the way picking up "weak minded" allies to do her bidding. NYW was the perfect choice to go after since all of those she had chosen felt she was the cause for all of their issues not only with themselves but their families as well.
I believe she knows that she will eventually be caught but how much damage has she inflicted to NYW's family that they truly will come back from it all. To her, that is enough of a victory if NYW's family is suffering because everything else that she may face doesn't matter, she has proved her point. To LSR, let the chips fall where they may after that. But, with her mindset, she will still find a way to take all of her pawns and sacrifice them before herself. She will always come out on top.
It will be interesting to see how it all ends.
This grandmother is the most irritating and loud yelling person I have ever heard. Why don't they kick her out of the house? I can't stand her. Stop giving her airtime.
Again, PDR's mother is back in her life again. We are back on the carousel. Breaking up with PS again. I can't believe her brother just sat there while the mother just turned the story around saying PS was to blame for everything. WTH didn't he say anything?
Who do you think to XFF out of the grave? It was deep, so her body could not have 'washed' up on the rocks that she was on. I still say XH had something to do with that even though he didn't know who she was or who did that to her until episode 11 at the exam when SYR was looking all tripped out.

Episode 36 - Marriage, General and House Arrest
So, it went down. EPR married LJ aka Lunatic Joker. He knew she was going to be a piece but on the wedding night when they went to do the whole wedding cup thing, girlfriend slapped him HARD. You know Lunatic Joker was ticked. He wanted to haul off and hit her, but he chilled.
EPR is already starting to have pains but I'm not sure if she "lost" the "supposed baby" or not or if she is pretending that she still has it to keep SYR on the hook with her.
XH was all about laying it out to Poison Ivy that it's not happening, he wasn't marrying her so guess what? I'll just take my chances and die.
JL got to meet the general who is XH's grandfather. XH was none too happy that he was in his crib because he still faults him for not investigating the death of his father. High tensions there.
We had SYR doing some sneaky stuff because he was looking up poison. Was he trying to figure out the whole pregnancy thing. EPR rolled up to SYR's crib and he had to calm her crazy ass down because he told her that Lunatic Joker was born with a golden spoon, and to chill with her high maintenance attitude. She is still holding on to his weak promises of an engagement when Lord Cheng takes over. The girl is just so sad, really, she is. She can't see that she is being played.
Then FAE was on the hook with all of the council because of the moves that XH made with the imperial guard office and the armory. Folks were hot because he tortured the guy. With all the complaints against him, FAE had no choice but to ground his ass for 2 days. Say what? My man is off the chess board right now.
Lunatic Joker confronted EPR about knowing she snuck off to see SYR and he was none too happy but what was he going to do. He is only a pawn of a consort. Stay in your lane!
Episode 37 - Li Family, Miscarriage and Reunion
EPR was a hot mess where Lunatic Joker was concerned. I mean, she was just nasty to him. Lunatic Joker put up with a lot from her. She told him that she wanted him to wash her feet. He looked at her like, "I know you didn't just say to wash your feel. I don't think so." But when she threatened him with Daddy Li. Oh, he got on board with that real quick.
But can we talk about how FINE, I mean FINE XH was looking all in white, hair down and flowing under house arrest! Yes! He was looking too good. I know I would be staying with him for those 2 days. Drag me out from him. Goodness.
Grandpa Heng and XH finally with the pushing of JL had a family reunion. Why am I hearing the song "Family Reunion by the O'Jays right not)? Anyway, Grandpa Heng gave XH the 4-1-1 on what happened back then with his father. He knew that LC killed his son, but he played along with everything because of him. Grandpa knew what time was and he too, is all about getting revenge for his son. JL did a good job bringing them back together and at least XH was opened to it. So much so until he told Grandpa to stay at his crib to be safe.
Lunatic Joker just couldn't understand that EPR was just as crazy as him. Seriously, they would make a good couple, if they gave each other a chance. But Lunatic Joker snapped, I mean snapped when she was giving him that shrimp and told him to eat after it fell on the floor. Dude went off. Told her he was not a dog like SYR, ok? I mean the fight was epic with the flipping of the whole table of food by EPR.
You know it was going to happen, you got it, EPR miscarried. The drama was high. Daddy Li rushed over, and Lunatic Joker was quaking in his shoes. He just sentenced the whole family to death. I'm telling you Daddy Li was just about to lose his mind because he was seeing his whole family being exterminated. Slapped Lunatic Joker. Man, he is always getting slapped or kicked.
Lunatic Joker decided to sacrifice and tell EPR that he would die because he took the life of her child, well, here comes Daddy Li telling her he only has one son, since we all know the other one is a monk. You know EPR was down with that. Picked up the sword and girlfriend went to swinging. But Daddy Li brought his backup of soldiers and was like, "Hell naw, bitch, you are not about to kill my son." Enter SYR, "You all need to stop acting crazy and calm the hell down. JL set a trap and we all fell into it. So just stop!" Everybody looked at him and said, "What did you say?" Oh, they hot when he told them the deal.
Yeah, JL got exposed now. XH tells JL he will be her pawn now. LC got the pigeon messages and the latest one from EPR to bring it on because she basically told him, "I am pissed as hell, and we need to turn this mother out." LC told his boys, "Let's ride and do the damn thing. We got an emperor to kill."
Episode 38 - Survival of the Fittest
SYR goes to see LC and his plan -- kill EPR and frame FAE for it. Say what? Oh, hell naw! Don't be bringing down FAE. These are fighting words people! But you know that SYR is up to no good because he wants EPR out of his life. LC comes up with a plan to fake her death. Come on, really? SYR says he will give her the potion (wink-wink) to kill her, but we will let dumbass LC think he is giving her the fake stuff. You know SYR is so happy on this plan. He can't wait to get rid of her.
Now, the strategizing went down at the ancestral temple of Consort Li Yunxian where EPR and LC went to pay their respects to her. Here comes Daddy Li bringing the plan for the smackdown to take place during the banquet. The evil trio were making sure everything was covered. But hold up, not to be outdone was our boy XH along with WJ and LJ his subordinates to get their plan on point. Everybody was getting ready for this chess game you all!
Ok, when I saw the moment of XH and JL hanging out under the tree having some tea, I just knew, knew I was going to see some action. But guess what? Fooled again. I am OVER the foreplay people! Can we see the kiss? Love the whole stare each other down, but dang, do it with the lips. I can't with these two. Another hug...sigh!
Loved the heart-to-heart talk that JYB had with Grandma Jiang. My man has really suffered for his fam. For real. Gotta feel for the man because I think he is going to make a big sacrifice for his fam. Choking up if we lose JYB.
EPR killed the late emperor her father. Wow!! Smothered him with a pillow. Then walked out like nothing happened.
OMG!!! ZK got chloroformed and taken down by the Third Master Jiang. JL got a fake note to go to XH to discuss something. She figured out that it wasn't ZK but a fake but by that time it was too late. XH had his guards following her, but they got all jacked up. She was knocked out and put in a jail cell by EPR. Can they just kill her already please!
Episode 39 - SYR's Uprising, Banquet, Rebellion
The real ZK escapes and gets to XH and tells him that the Third Master Jiang confessed to him that he was threatened by EPR. XH, you know he is pissed but he still is holding it together because he knows it is a diversion to pull him and his men away from FAE. Guess who steps up to save JL--hell yeah, Grandpa Heng. My man had on his army gear and was ready to go get his granddaughter-in-law. Giddup Grandpa!!!
Meanwhile, SYR is going rogue and doing his own thing. He gives one of EPR's maid some soup he made because she was looking all weak since the whole fake miscarriage. She is all happy because in her twisted mind she things he cares. Girlfriend, he doesn't. He just poisoned your ass! Down in the cell, SYR is chloroforming JL because, oh you already know, he still loves her and is just a nut now.
Confrontation at last. As SYR was carrying JL out, EPR is standing in the rain. She asks SYR if he ever loved her and how will he face her brother because he poisoned her. He basically told her she was a pawn, and her brother needed an excuse to have the rebellion and she was it. JL does wake up, but she can't move because of the drug he gave her. SYR stands in front of EPR who takes that big ass tree branch of a hairpin he gave her and hands it back to him, but guess what? She stabs herself, not once but twice. SYR is shocked because he didn't see that coming. Now, he is really a murderer because she set him up. Told him that she would wait for him in hell. How about that! Last words to SYR from EPR. So, what is he going to tell LC. This was not the plan. Oh damn!
Oh snap! We have SYR in the carriage with JL, who is telling her that he will take out XH and that they will now be together. Boy, bye! It is not happening. Snap out of it. Honestly, he is just a loss cause at this point. I guess let him believe he will make in the end, but we know he won't. Ok, let's carry on. SYR now has the damn fishtail talisman, and he controls the Longwu Army. He hates XH to his bones, so he asks LC for it. Oh man! Dude needs to die for real now!
SYR takes EPR's body to Lunatic Joker's crib and he is like, "WTH did you do." SYR tells him to stay on the plan and he will confess later that he was the one that killed her. Lunatic Joker was like, "You better because I am not going down for this, no sir, I am not. " Lunatic Joker put on the best performance as he was taking her out of the crib, smiling when he put the cloth over her head. Man, he is so happy that she is dead, he doesn't know what to do.
Here comes Grandpa Heng and Lai Baio who was under his command to get JL back. Yes, it was too good! He told Lai Baio that he was going to leave it up to the young folks to fight, he was going to take JL. I love Grandpa and LB is too fine. These men...mercy!
Ok, so here comes Lunatic Joker into the banquet carrying EPR's dead body, screaming and yelling the FAE killed her. Now, how the hell was that even possible when he JUST walked out a few seconds before Lunatic Joker came in. People you cannot be that dumb. I guess any reason to start the rebellion. Daddy Li looked the most shocked because he saw she was really dead.
FAE had to leave CL because LC wanted to follow him, and they needed to get him out. Everyone in the banquet was arguing because they wanted to investigate EPR's death because of what CL said. The guards took her out.
Rebellion is on people!! LC gave his big speech. Told them all they better get on board the "LC for Emperor" train, or you better just get ready to die. One of the men spoke up, killed him really quick. Guess what? They got on that train.
We had Daddy Jiang vs Daddy Li. Here comes Daddy Jiang backing up FAE with the men in black hats. Yes! Daddy Jiang was all that with his back up for FAE. He wasn't taking anymore from Daddy Li and kicked him, and they dragged his ass out.
WJ and Poison Ivy were doing it together because FABE decided to give over his peeps to help out FAE's folks in the capitol. Guess he decided that XH was for real, and he better give over his peeps or never hear the end of it from his sister, Poison Ivy.
FAE was protected by LJ (XH subordinate) and child, again those men in the black hats! Yes, they were on point. Love those guys.
Then XH and LC man that was a serious fight. But you know XH was going to kill him, but he had to "superman" out to go and see if all was cool with FAE. But LJ was holding it down with JYB and our men in black hats.
Finally, we have one flew over the cuckoo's nest SYR trying to kill our man XH because he had the fishtail talisman. I can't wait until he dies because he is so on my nerves. But before XH went to handle the Longwu Army, here comes Grandpa Heng with JL. Yes, she is coming in all majestic riding on the horse. XH about died when he saw her. He could at least be calm now and handle the business because she was there.
XH gets cornered and SYR commands the Longwu army to kill him.
Episode 40 - Check Mate - End Game
But here comes our gurl, yes, JL is coming for her man. Tells the Longwu army the names of those fallen warriors and they begin to hesitate to kill him. But SYR has the fishtail talisman so what can they do but follow the order.
SYR is just now crazy, seriously, one screw loose from begin fully crazy. Let me tell you, girlfriend picked up that bow and shot SYR in the hand and the talisman fell and Poison Ivy bounced on up and threw it to XH who now had control back once again.
SYR is now all defeated laying up against a column, hand all jacked up with an arrow in it talks with JL about killing him and she is like, I don't want to dirty my hands. She tells him in his next life, she hopes he is born noble and leaves. But you know we have to pull out that lute and start playing that "peach blossom" trek again as she walked down the steps, and the guards came to get him. Well, you know he couldn't take it and everything that had happened so, he jumped from the top of the tower. JL heard the thud, never turned around. Bye SYR!!!

Peace in the Kingdom.
JL's father remembers everything. He tells her that he knows she suffered and wants them all to go back but she tells him no. She is still the second lady of the Jiang family, and she needs to clear stuff up. Her dad tells her that XH is a good man, and he agrees with her decision to be with him.
XH and JL have a talk about each other plans. She tells him that she wants to renovate his place. She has a soulmate, and he is right in front of her. He is smiling to beat the band. The get married.
JL and XH go to the peach blossom tree where they visit the graves of the real JL and Tong. She gives back the hairpin that JL gave her. She thanks her for handling everything and clearing her name.
Yes, they do at last -- kiss. But it is a minute before they do because she gives him a token to carry with him. They finally after 39 episodes--kiss. I love me some XH do you hear me? The man is fine, I can't say it enough.
But they have to be separated because he has to go put peace at the border but before he leaves, they plant a new tree.
JL has a heart-to-heart with Daddy Jiang. She tells him everything. He knew who she was and when he asked about his daughter and if she died alone. He broke me down, and then when he fell out on the desk. My man's heart was broken. You have to feel for the man.
All of the Jiang family is leaving the capitol, even JJR and LX left and the only one to stay was YSJ. He told her that he only wants to be her brother. Man, YSJ, is alone. All that cuteness. Sigh.
I am telling you all right now, you will cry, I mean cry to see the deaths of BOTH XH's subordinates, WJ and JL. It is so heartbreaking. He is devastated to see they both died. He said he would take them back. I was so upset over their deaths. It was too much. I still can't believe they died.
JL waits and the tree grows. She runs wearing all red to the tree and you hear in the distance the galloping of a horse and it is XH. He kept his promise. You see JL turn around....the end!
Right? Aren't you feeling some kind of way with that ending. At least have him call her name she turned around but nope; we just see her.
