I have to say this was really a good drama. I enjoyed it so much that I will miss KDP and his boys. They were so much fun. I can only imagine him in college.

This guy had envisioned in his mind how he wanted their lives to be. HYM was never going to work and just have kids. Be at home and be the housewife and not have any further ambitions but to do that.
The sad thing is if he would have just chilled out and let her be the woman/wife/mother she could and would have been to their marriage it would have thrived. But his insecurity after he met ZGD just set in motion how he was going to move forward with their marriage. His insecurity was again, the catalyst that brought he own demise of the marriage.
No matter how many times or ways HYM would tell him not to do this or that because she was satisfied, he would not hear that, in his mind, he heard, "I'm not good enough."
FXW was not going to send his mother away until HYM showed him all the certificates she had gotten. This threatened him more than anything, so he had to take a calculated risk and say that his mother was leaving thinking this would have her concede and say she was not going to look for employee. NOT! She knew that at every turn he was continuing to dissuade her, and she was having none of it and good for her.
What FXW failed to realize is that HYM was learning not only about herself but the type of mother she wanted to show her daughter she was and she in turn could be. HYM lost herself once she became married to FXW, she lost the thriving and carefree person that she was. She knew while she was pregnant how she was feeling then, and it just exasperated even more once her daughter had gotten older. She wanted more, she wanted to gain that back of feeling a part of something as well as raising a daughter to see that she could do both. Being a mother/wife and having a job.

He could have a billion dollars and he would still think it is not enough, not understanding the HYM has told him repeatedly that was not what she was about. If he would have taken the time to really listen, understand and appreciate who she was, it may have been a different outcome.
As far as SGS and HZH. I agree with what HYM said to SGS. If she told HZH about the assault she could have just put all her cards on the table and told him about the marriage. The guise of her saying, "well, I didn't think I would get married," is totally not acceptable. She is such a straightforward person and I know that she was afraid, but that is part of life, doing the things we hate doing the most, but know we have to do it whether we like the outcome or not, it must be told because it will come out eventually.
Here goes ZGD, telling her he has to leave again to go to France. This man might as well just stop and get out of her life. Then we have SGS mother asking for money from HZH.

YSJ now becomes a new player on the board because he knows everything about JL. But we knew he had figured this out long ago of who she was. He is now fully engaged to be on her side no matter what.

Now, we have to get JL's real father at some point in all this. He has to know something because he is regaining his sense. So, I'm looking more from him.

So, we know that EPR has JL's brother but if JL would think about it. EPR is only interested in SYR. JL should call EPR's bluff. She should not retracked her testimony and see what EPR was going to do. In the end, she fell into her own trap that she laid out for both EPR and SYR. JL should have not let her emotions get in the way as XH told her. I know she hasn't seen her brother like forever, but she is not XFF anymore, so she just gave her further ammunition by admitting that she is XFF.
And what we won't do for love, we have YSJ willing to marry JL because SYR wants to marry her. But XH is not having any of this and goes to EPR and OMG, give her his Longwu army token!!! Say what? Now, SYR goes to JL and tells her that XH is willing to give EPR the Longwu army and what would FAE say to that? Would his possession be confiscated, or will his family be exterminated?
Can you please tell me why are taking this to 16 episodes? They really could wrap this up next week. The additional 2 episodes in my opinion is not necessary.

Instead of playing " spy" all day, how about you go and get a job. Oh, and did she say she wanted to go back home and FXW says, "I will pay you $5000." Seriously, she needs to go.

I don't believe she knows that he met him a second time after the initial meeting with them both before she got married. No matter how much money he makes, home he buys, company he runs and sales, he will continuously feel like he is chasing after ZGD. SGS with regards to the bathtub. If she would have clearly communicated to him the issue with that, then HZH would have never put one in. SGS was also given the plans to review which she just, as we all do sometimes, skimmed over it. But again, in all fairness, he could have asked one more time because she did tell him that she did NOT want a bathtub. Lack of communication on both ends.
The reason why HZH came at her with regards to the fishing, in my opinion, was his defense mechanism because he finally understood why she didn't want the bathtub after she said about bringing up the past. He was embarrassed by the fact he did not remember and initiated the argument in which he knew he would push her buttons to leave.
I agree with HZH about XA's father. I just don't feel that it is on the "up and up." I still think there is a hidden agenda somewhere. I was glad to see SGS support HZH in his decision. I agree she is beginning to soften up.
OMG FXW does it again, he takes her out of contention for another job. This pushes her to get the divorce. ZGD is back in the picture, and he is determined not to lose her this time. It looks like we meet her soulmate PJM in episode 28.
JL is too much. She worked everyone to get SYR to play with her. But did you notice when she said you hate your wife, what did he say? I love her. Present tense not past. Which means, I believe that he knows that it is her.
XH was too jealous this episode did you see him use his fan to take the cloak that SYR gave her. Then even picked it up with the fan, not allowing her to do so. My man. Did you see him using that fan of his again like Captain America and his shield then flying in like Superman. He is all that with that damn fan.
I have to give some love to WJ and LJ--XH's guards. Those two can fight. Too bad Poison Ivy doesn't go for WJ. I think they are cute together. But she is too hung up on XH. Again, jealousy.

Picking between the two, ZGD, most definitely because now she has to tend with his mother, who is so on my nerves. I mean, he wants to control every aspect of everyone's life. Look at how he is treating his partner at the company he has shares in. Then says, he will take HYM's shares as well to have 100%. He is on his on trip.

I don't fault HZH for giving ZGD the hometown of FXW. He was going to find out one way or another. So, I probably would have told too.
When HYM came out and FXW followed behind and he grabbed her hand. ZGD knew at that point it was a done deal. He held his composure, which we knew that took a lot to do.
But when FXW called ZGD, was that really necessary. In my opinion, no. FXW has always felt insecure, he was looking to see what type of individual ZGD was and what he felt the standard he needed to have to be better. I knew it wasn't going to go down well and I will say in a minute why. When FXW came into the room he thought he had one upped ZGD by giving the candy, but he did get him when he told her that they had not even been married at the point when he arrived.
That was definitely a hard punch in the gut for ZGD. You could see the tenseness in his jaw. I knew he was going to go down without swinging.
When he said this, "When we were together, no matter where we were, we'd try the local specialties. We ate at street stalls and five-star hotels. HYM has seen the world. She knows what's good and accepts with pleasure what's bad. It's because she's accommodating. It doesn't mean she lacks her own standards."
That statement to me from ZGD is what will overshadow HYM and FXW marriage throughout its duration. He will always be competing against the "ghost" of ZGD. You notice that FXW was going to throw away the food that he purchased but ZGD had thrown away the wedding candy. Tell-tale sign on ZGD's part that he was never accepting of the marriage or FXW. Then FXW decided to keep the food, why? To clarify if what ZGD said was true. When she said they were her favorites and how much they were, this further infused FXW to be better and push to give HYM everything, again, his insecurity will be the downfall of this marriage.
I would have been fuming on two fronts: 1. Having his mother move in when the place is already small enough. HYM didn't need the hassle of dealing with her. She speaks Mandarin which HYM doesn't know and that is not helpful. Plus, she is always appearing to sneak around. 2. When FXW resigned HYM from her company that would have been it for me.
FXW is too controlling, and I knew he had issues. He has an inferiority complex because he should have hired that young man for the company. Anyone that he feels that has more of an education or just appears to be a bit better he does not want them to be around. He is too much. I would have gone to ZGD.
In the teasers you can see FXW is getting more controlling and worse. SGS and HZH separate.

@mjcsfla1 I believe that PS's aunt will be coming with him somehow into being a writing in the company. I think her script that she has written will be one that he will be directing so this will push to the forefront their relationship and put PDR's brother into the limelight with her. He will once again be around her and she still won't know who he is but I think something will eventually happen when he does come on set.
I also think that PDR's mother will go back and tell her son that he was right about that being her. She is going to test her somehow to see if it is her. Like the walnut test, but I don't think she will be allergic and that will throw her off. But she is resilient and try other ways to verify who she is.
Now with regards to MR. I think she is still smarter than what they are giving her credit for. She reads a lot and comprehends a lot of things unbeknownst to her parents. They keep saying she has "slow" per se. But I don't think she is. I think something will happen between her and PDR's brother that will be an eye opener for her that she looks at him in a whole new light.

JL is too much. She worked everyone to get SYR to play with her. But did you notice when she said you hate your wife, what did he say? I love her. Present tense not past. Which means, I believe that he knows that it is her.
XH was too jealous this episode did you see him use his fan to take the cloak that SYR gave her. Then even picked it up with the fan, not allowing her to do so. My man. Did you see him using that fan of his again like Captain America and his shield then flying in like Superman. He is all that with that damn fan.
I have to give some love to WJ and LJ--XH's guards. Those two can fight. Too bad Poison Ivy doesn't go for WJ. I think they are cute together. But she is too hung up on XH. Again, jealousy.
YSJ he is another one, jealous of XH. You see the endless glances he gives her. I am waiting for something to go down. Not sure what, but something.

Guess LJ better get ready to go to the temple to and become a monk with his brother LL. You know LJ isn't one to listen, so I think he is going to go rogue and possibly take his Daddy out. He is going to join forces probably with Lord Cheng. You watch. Circumventing his father. Because right now, he is mad that his Daddy thinks he is worthless, and oh, he will get LL to help him too. Just my thoughts on that.
Looks like FAE wants to sacrifice JL and XH is feeling that. JL used SYR to put EPR into a trap. SYR breaks down, tells JL she won't win against EPR. Pulls her into an embrace.
JL's plan goes array and she has to take back her testimony because EPR is going to kill ZK. It looks to me like the guy who is always watching over her. Is that who you all see?

After watching the first episode, it reminds me of the beginning of "Why Her." It seems interesting but after only one episode, the jury is still out.
Picking between the two, ZGD, most definitely because now she has to tend with his mother, who is so on my nerves. I mean, he wants to control every aspect of everyone's life. Look at how he is treating his partner at the company he has shares in. Then says, he will take HYM's shares as well to have 100%. He is on his on trip.
I so agree, with your last sentence. He makes her believe that he is doing everything to insure everything is good and she is happy. Man, if he would have resigned for me, I would have played along, quietly packed my stuff and called ZGD to get me away. This is too toxic for her to be in.
He even takes more advantage of her once their daughter is born to tell her she can't work. Excuse me? See, he told her that she is a free spirit, and he is trying to cut her wings and that just will not for the type of personality she has.
I don't fault HZH for giving ZGD the hometown of FXW. He was going to find out one way or another. So, I probably would have told too.
When HYM came out and FXW followed behind and he grabbed her hand. ZGD knew at that point it was a done deal. He held his composure, which we knew that took a lot to do.
But when FXW called ZGD, was that really necessary. In my opinion, no. FXW has always felt insecure, he was looking to see what type of individual ZGD was and what he felt the standard he needed to have to be better. I knew it wasn't going to go down well and I will say in a minute why. When FXW came into the room he thought he had one upped ZGD by giving the candy, but he did get him when he told her that they had not even been married at the point when he arrived.
That was definitely a hard punch in the gut for ZGD. You could see the tenseness in his jaw. I knew he was going to go down without swinging.
When he said this, "When we were together, no matter where we were, we'd try the local specialties. We ate at street stalls and five-star hotels. HYM has seen the world. She knows what's good and accepts with pleasure what's bad. It's because she's accommodating. It doesn't mean she lacks her own standards."
That statement to me from ZGD is what will overshadow HYM and FXW marriage throughout its duration. He will always be competing against the "ghost" of ZGD. You notice that FXW was going to throw away the food that he purchased but ZGD had thrown away the wedding candy. Tell-tale sign on ZGD's part that he was never accepting of the marriage or FXW. Then FXW decided to keep the food, why? To clarify if what ZGD said was true. When she said they were her favorites and how much they were, this further infused FXW to be better and push to give HYM everything, again, his insecurity will be the downfall of this marriage.
I would have been fuming on two fronts:
1. Having his mother move in when the place is already small enough. HYM didn't need the hassle of dealing with her. She speaks Mandarin which HYM doesn't know and that is not helpful. Plus, she is always appearing to sneak around.
2. When FXW resigned HYM from her company that would have been it for me.
FXW is too controlling, and I knew he had issues. He has an inferiority complex because he should have hired that young man for the company. Anyone that he feels that has more of an education or just appears to be a bit better he does not want them to be around. He is too much. I would have gone to ZGD.
In the teasers you can see FXW is getting more controlling and worse. SGS and HZH separate.

I also think that PDR's mother will go back and tell her son that he was right about that being her. She is going to test her somehow to see if it is her. Like the walnut test, but I don't think she will be allergic and that will throw her off. But she is resilient and try other ways to verify who she is.
Now with regards to MR. I think she is still smarter than what they are giving her credit for. She reads a lot and comprehends a lot of things unbeknownst to her parents. They keep saying she has "slow" per se. But I don't think she is. I think something will happen between her and PDR's brother that will be an eye opener for her that she looks at him in a whole new light.
Seriously, why is PS still living with the fam. He is old enough and successful enough that he can have his own crib. I could not take the constant beatdown everyday hearing about how they don't want him to be with PDR especially the grandmother. I would have told her she needs her own place. She is so money hungry until I have never loathed so much as I did the chick in Till the End of the Moon. And that is saying something.
I was too overjoyed to see JSR go into a "mad, mad, world." Yes!! Get it JL. Drive that woman to the brink of "one flew over the cuckoo's nest!" She deserves that and more.
And check out Consort Li, trying to aid and abet the crimes for JSR even further by telling them not to kill heifer. She needs to get hers to, but she did get their father, didn't she? Everybody is going to be monks or the temple. Damn. By the way, I wonder how LL is doing being a monk. He has to come back into play with his father Daddy Li and his brother LJ. Now that my fine emperor doesn't have any peeps in court, the Li family is going to take over. You saw that when Daddy Li step in and said they needed to reward Lord Cheng.
XH better chill with his emotions because fine emperor is all on that. We can't have any drama where he is concerned with JL. But he is good at playing the game.
YSJ did he do it in front of fine emperor or what? Put SYR on blast for the situation with JL coming to the shindig at the palace. Yeah, love me some YSJ! Whew! But you know, he just made an enemy out of SYR. You saw that snide smile he gave him. YSJ better watch his back. Oh, did you see the loving looks that YSR is giving JL.
SYR is going all Jack Nicholson from the Shining and about to lose his mind over JL looking like his wife. HAHA and so well deserved if he does. All that he is doing for EPR (Princess Wanning) is ridiculous and his family is basically saying she has their backs, so he needs to just not give in. He is so pussy whipped.
Let the games begin between SYR and JL. But I believe that EPR tries to assassinate her. You will see SYR take the blade. You know EPR is going to trip out on him for doing that and she is going to say he still has feelings for her.
