Its true that if you open the IQIYI international website iq.com, the drama is not among the coming soon list posted on the main page. But if you search the drama its page is still there. But on the app for some reason, the drama is still at the start of the coming soon list. Either the drama was moved to the back of the coming soon list on the iq.com website but the didn't bother updating the app, or iqiyi app follows the mainland version and only the international site was changed. Either way, its a confusing mess. But the drama page is still on iq.com with all the trailers and episode 1 to 6 previews
This is sooo stupid. The drama that they aired the trailers again for just yesterday are not airing. But instead, a drama for which literally almost no promotion has been done has got an air date for tomorrow!!! What the hell is IQIYI doing??

Its also so cute how he explains which all are actual filters and which is not. There are many who wouldn't go that far, or just be mean about it and then go on.
Just saw that 'Wanru's journey' will release today. So i think the historic dramas are slowly rolling out again. Plus according to some youtubers, many historic dramas have just passed review, like "Wonderland of love", "Lost you forever" and "Faith".

I know that. Thats why i mentioned that these might be considered different categories. But they both do relate to the history of china, so I'm just hinging my hopes on the fact that it is not a modern drama and so the other non-modern dramas will slowly start coming out too.
A few dramas posted release dates with trailers, Like Li Jiulin's 'Circle of love '(which is set to air tomorrow), 'My wife', and 'Mr. insomniac waiting for love' (to air on the 30th of may). And there is Vin Zhang and Janice Wu's 'Here we meet again', which was released in the middle of all the crackdown speculation. This makes me think it won't be long before SOKP releases a new air date. At first, I thought it might be that all the modern setting dramas are releasing without a problem and only the historic and xianxia ones are being given trouble. But considering that Li Jiulin's circle of love is a Republican setting, that assumption might not be entirely true (and yes i know that Republican and historic might be counted as 2 different categories). I am more convinced by the idea that iqiyi is delaying the start of SOKP, 1. to wait until Till the end of the moon to end, 2. so they have a well-hyped drama to compete with the other site's dramas in June.
So here is to hoping that SOKP and the other IQIYI dramas will start releasing soon.

Plus the fact that most people who make videos about the chinese entertainment industry and upcoming dramas have not mentioned anything about this "cleanse", suggests that maybe that was exaggerated news. For all you know it might actually be a real techincal issue!! Maybe iqiyi realised that their site might not be able to handle the traffic and so they are trying to fix the site. LOL ;) ;) ;)

IQIYI is still uploading content related to the drama today. So probably we can still anticipate it air sometime soon. Or perhapd IQIYI might try to air the drama internationally and not locally?? I don't really know at this point.
Did i miss it or did they ever reveal more about Min Hui's own background. Considering we got so much detail about Xin Qi"s orphanage time and him being adopted by a wealthy family and taken abroad and the fact that he has a sister in this family, its kind of odd that they never revealed much about Min Hui's parents and stuff. It seems to have been totally ignored. If they were alive then they completely ignored their daughter and her pain and suffering. If they are not alive, then she is not very different from Xin Qi, except that he was adopted at a young age.
