Yeah, I like her personality better too. Plus i feel it would be too unfair to XZX if she didn't get the guy and also died, while her sister got the guy and also got XZX's life and the guy again!! That would be too unfair.

I strongly feel that the one who died is XXW and that XZX is fed up with being the good girl her mother always expects of her to be. I think its probably gonna be something like XXW always got away with anything she did because her parents were so focused on XZX, who happened to be good at her studies. But as XZX lost her crush LZ to XXW, she probably started to hate herself and her parents who constantly forced her to be a particular way, while XXW got the only thing XZX has every truly wanted, LZ. Probably after XXW died, her mother, distort over her other daughter's death, wanted XZX to be even more of a perfect daughter, which maybe made XZX even hate her sister in the process.
I feel like if it was XXW who was pretending to be XZX, then i feel like she more likely to be a good lawyer that purposely ruin her dead sister's name. But if she is actually XZX, then she is purposely doing this as a rebellion against her mother, while using XXW identity to finally be with the man she still loves all these years later.

They probably checked in the app. But on the iq.com site its still in the 4th set of the upcoming dramas list. But there is no way to know which is more accurate. If the app follows the official mainland china site version, then probably that is more accurate. But there is no way to know for sure.
I know everyone is saying it is probably coming out in September. But I just want to put my wish out there for the IQIYI gods to read/hear. I hope that Legend of Anle starts streaming this month and the traffic for it causes IQIYI to decide to suddenly air SOKP to compete with it. I know that IQIYI already has Divine Destiny airing. But I somehow feel like its not as popular as several of the other upcoming shows like Legend of Anle of SOKP or My Journey to You. So if Youku airs Legend of Anle, IQIYI just might be forced to air another highly anticipated drama to compete and if that happens, I hope it is Story of Kunning Palace.

I agree with you. But from a lot of the flashbacks, its a little weird that the sister even asked for money. So I'm thinking there was more to the story that just got cut out either due to censorship or due to editing to fit the story into 30 episodes. I mean, was it because she knew her daughter had a heart condition, or was there another reason she wanted the money? Cause even the guy she literally grew up with doesn't know she was that kind of person. So there had to be something more to the whole story that they just never told us.
I have thoughts about this drama. Good and Bad. So here we go:
I loved the kids. I also loved the bonding between the women in the drama. Although there was a little love triangle, there was no toxic ex or toxic rivals, which is a fresh change from the usual love triangle trope. They had one of the most mature friendships between the female characters that I had ever seen.
I loved the leads. I liked their relationship. I also liked the relationship of the leads with the opposite kids. It was a cute mother-son/father-daughter kind of bond, which i adore. I actually think the drama may have benefitted from a few more episodes so the entire plot and character development could have been rounded up better. Like how the older brother's up and disappearing put pressure on the ML, and actually how the FL's appearance changed him for the better.
And also why the FL's sister needed the money so badly. From all the evidence of her flashbacks and the recordings, it is odd. In the flashbacks she actually seems like she liked the ML's brother. But why she turned out to be after his money is a mystery they never explained. Did it have something to do with the antagonist or some other situation? Or did she find out that Xuan Xuan had a bad heart so she was trying to get the ML's brother to get money from the family so they can easily treat their daughter. Perhaps, she thought she was holding him back and was using this method to send him and her kids back to china, to his family where they will be well taken care of? And she could use the excuse of being a gold-digger to leave him without him being too upset about it? I don't know but either way i think another 2 episodes to solve these things and also maybe show the birth of the ML and FL's own child would have been good.
'Romance of the Little Forest' is good. The female lead is a little dramatic but its like her persona. The FL is a well-educated Phd but due to her love for makeup she became an influencer. But the pace and the plot is very refreshing in my opinion. She is dramatic but not a damsel. She can take care of herself and is very independent.
Zhang Ling He's 'Maiden Holmes' is also very good. The FL is a renowned detective while Zhang Ling He is a renowned and beloved Prince of the kingdom.
Why is it removed from Iqyi coming list?? I'm awaiting for Bia Lu's and Xu Kai's dramas but not single of them…
Its not removed. Its probably moved back on the list. Plus its still one of the top coming soon on the app. Im guessing the change is only affecting the international platforms but not the app and the official mainland china site.
