Am I correct in assuming the Mei Xing is Liu Zixing from One and only? I just feel like some of his dialogues about how he feels like he owes ZSC in a past life make him seem more like the young emperor than Liu Zixing. Cause i feel like Liu Zixing and ZSC never had a particular relationship in One and only. The only decently close relationship ZSC had in the royal family was with the young emperor cause he and the emperor's father grew up together like brothers. So he always considered the young emperor like a nephew.

Agreed, but most recent medical dramas all have some kind of COVID arc. Its probably also a tactic to get through censorship. Likely having a COVID-related arc to so-called "showcase China's untied stand against COVID" sort of thing helps with getting the drama through censorship easily.

Well technically, there is also the 3rd ML, ZJW who plays Yan Lin, who will also be in love with JXN. So you could even have 3rd ML syndrome

A continuing question from this:
In the last episode, when TTJ trasforms from the blakc and red attire to the white one, is it a sign that he officially ascended to a pure GOD form like SS? I mean i know he was already the Devil god but did he become a proper god ( like Ming Ye, Chu Huang, and Ji Ze were) in that moment?

I actually disagree. If you remember the phone conversation he had with that lady correctly, it seemed more like he was holding on to the documents about her real identity as a backup for a situation when TT turns out not to fit into the TCM group (i.e she shows no skill or talent for it/ doesn't change her mind about it). In that case, he probably would have used the documents to prove to everyone she is not the real successor so that she can go her way and everyone else can continue with their lives. It does not seem like something he would prepare to do if he was her real father.

I agree. When i first saw him in episode one, I had this feeling that although he was RTZ friend, deep down he always wanted TZ to fail in his test that day.

Well even if that is true, they will not be full blood cousins since TT parent would only be a half-sibling to SLL.

Also for this theory to really work though most likely RTZ grandpa might have known all along that TT is not the real successor. This would also explain why in the 1st episode the grandpa didn't even bother questioning if TT was really the successor.

I don't really agree with the theory that Wu is the father of TT. But i think perhaps the whole setup was made to pay back TT mother's sacrifice. Remember how they always emphasize that TT mother died saving someone... What if that someone feels a sense of responsibility for TT well-being cause her only relative, her mother passed away saving them? So when they found TT years later and realised her life was not great, they decided to do something to change that. That person may have some connection to TCM and because they saw how much TT can care for random strangers, they thought giving her a chance to learn TCM might change her life for the better. But with her lack of education, she couldn't be accepted into a university or by a proper professor, so instead they went through a roundabout process of convincing everyone she is the Jiang Sects successor so that she could get an excellent teacher to pass on his knowledge to her and at the same time also test and see if RXZ is really able impartially teach someone.

Probably his character development will be from this plot twist, when TZ bursts out at him, he might just realize how much his attitude and way of doing things and handling situations really affects his family, particularly his son.

I feel like the whole upcoming twist of Tou Tou being RXZ daughter is a plot for them to manage the situation until Wu wakes up and tells everyone the real truth. Im guessing perhaps the lady on the phone with Wu probably has something to do with TCM and either she owes something to Tou Tou's parents, like maybe she is the one Tou Tou's mother died saving or something. Perhaps that is why she took it upon herself to help Tou Tou's life around. If she arranged for Tou Tou to be taught by RXZ she would have a chance to change her life's direction or something. But as a non-college student, perhaps she needed a premises for Tou Tou to be accepted by RXZ as a student, so they made her up to be the Jiang successor. I also feel like RXZ probably figured out quite early on that she is not the real successor but saw potential in her so he decided to maintain the farce??

But TBH, Tou Tou need RTZ in her life. He is the rock that will keep her from ever losing herself in the world. She may have an excellent teacher in the form of RXZ. But out of everyone, RTZ was the only one that sees and acknowledges her desire for a family, something he probably noticed a lot in her as they started to stay together. Because even celebrating her birthday was something everyone took for granted. If it were not for TZ organizing it, no one would have even thought of celebrating hers.
