The IQIYI mainland page's coming soon list has changed a bit. Some of the dramas at the top of the list have vanished or been moved back. So here is the current list displayed:

Either IQIYI has decided to not release any more dramas for this month or they are planning to suddenly drop a bunch of traffic dramas with little warning. The coming soon list has not changed one bit, although there are a bunch or movies that keep getting release dates.

Guys the list has changed again. All dramas up by 1 place cause the drama that was first on the list has now got an airdate. And so has the variety show in 2nd place. The new list is as follows:

Nevermind. I just checked the site again and it is back in the same position it was in, after Bright eyes in the dark.

Story of Kunning palace has been moved off the IQIYI mainland coming soon list on the main page. If you click to see the full list it comes somewhere after The emperor's love. But on the main page, its been completely removed.

I agree that Xie Wei is a sort of psychopath. But I feel like it works with Jiang Xuening's character. Cause originally, she was an almost cold-hearted ambitious villainess, who turned her back on everyone in her life except Zhang Zhe. And although in the new timeline she isn't ambitious like that, it doesn't change the fact that unlike most FLs in dramas, she is a very grey character. So a super grey ML suits her better than a very white and pure ML.

Another modern drama is releasing at 8pm on the 18th. So the whole list has moved up again.

Ill stop the list here. As for My Journey To You, its currently not on the mainland list. But like I said last time, it might be one to get a sudden airdate and pop up in the list.

I've heard a lot of criticism about the female lead's acting before. And I have watched Dance of the Phoenix and The Journey of Chong Zi. Her acting in those definitely was a little lacklustre. But after watching Fireworks of my heart and now Love You Seven Times, I say although she still isn't the greatest actress, she definitely has improved. She probably just needs more experience with expressing romantic feelings, because its mostly in those scenes that I find her expressions a bit lacking. Otherwise, it seems fine.

IQIYI mainland as added a airdate for the drama that was first on the coming soon list. So now all the dramas have moved up 1, including SOKP, which is now 10th of the coming soon list.

Honestly, at this point any ZLH drama works for me. I would love for SOKP to air soon too. But if not that, then MJTY or Tiger and Crane will also do. I know he is in Fox spirit matchmaker 1. But since he is not the ML, im not too keen on it.

Anyone hear the rumour that a season 2 is coming up?

Yeah, i've noticed that too. Perhaps they have somewhere further down in the list and will just pop it up when its about to air. Like some dramas are suddenly appearing in front of dramas that have been on the list for a while now. Although these suddenly appearing dramas may be those ones for which all the episodes are released on the day of airing. Whatever the case, hope we can get SOKP soon. I have a major uni deadline in October. If SOKP airs in October I'm done for!!

There are more dramas on both lists but i've mostly covered the more highly anticipated ones in order. So, hope this helps.

Love like the galaxy was a proper historical costume drama. This is a modern and historical mixed drama. The Mary sue system is sort of like a game system which chooses people and has them complete tasks in another world (consider it a game/story world if you will) and gives them rewards. There are several similar plot style short drama out there, but not every drama has a name for the system this involves. If you like this kind of drama you can look up "The king of phoenix" donghua (or animation) on youtube. The main character in that is also part of a similar system, although her entire life if connected to travelling between the worlds in the system.

I've heard the criticism of her acting before and in terms of her acting in Legend of Chongzi I would agree. But when I recently saw her in Fireworks of my heart, I thought she was much better than before.
