The characters in Marriage of the Di Daughter's author's books are all somewhat deranged from a lifetime of abuse and horrific deaths and Betrayal; so they are quite bloodthirsty from the get go. The Grand Princess leads seem well adjusted in comparison and are trying to entangle decades of badblood between a married couple. I really enoyed her channel at one time but now I'm just waiting for her to get over whatever mood she is in. She doesn't pay attention to the work she is reviewing and makes rash judgement without understanding the material. I finally realised what it was that bothered me about her reviews with Who Rules The World: she complained about the scene when YangYang was nursing Zhao in the cave with beddings and full bedroom setup; that it was unrealistic and stupid but I was surprised because it was clearly a character clue. Feng Lan Xi, overpacks and is very fussy, so yes he would have a bedroom setup in his convoy- doing unrealistic and fussy things for his gentlemanly lifestyle. It was early in the show and she shouldn't have missed it if she was paying attention and attempting to understand the story that was being told. Most of her reviews now have her expect one thing from a genre or show that wants to do another and complain about it🤷 Never mind what the directors or actors or screenplay is trying to portray, she wants to see what she has imagined in her heart to be the best way and anything else is wrong😐 I'm complaining here because like she says its her channel and she can run it however she likes but as a former fan I have been quite disappointed.

She was his shield and hostage. He couldn't stab her or he would be exposed. She was a good enough shield and hostage until she implied they were allies. So she essentially trapped him: if they were allies, then she wasn't really a hostage, so the Duke didn't have to care about her life, as she would be a criminal like himself; as his shield the moment she died or was injured he would get captured.

The only reason to bring up Dai country again is because someone felt that Wanning needed to be avenged and that the Dai country that broke her needed to be punished. I don't think Wanning deserved this consideration and certainly not at the expense of JiJi and an ambiguous ending for Duke Su.

This is my problem with the Dai country war "arc". It adds nothing to the story, it was not forwarned and it irrelevant to the story they had been telling for 39eps. I want to be generous but someone important in the production wanted to kill off Duke Su and preferred SYR.
