This will be the first time I read a book well before it was adapted or planned for adaptation. I am just giddy with excitement to see what they do with this story. I think the leads casting works for the book characters; Excited going in😁

I'm actually annoyed no one is casting Dylan Wang for XJX. He has the stature and the vibe; his DQC was impeccable and I feel it's the vibe.
I would cast Lu Yu Xiao as Shen Miao. She does a good babyfaced malicious performance (as seen in My Journey to you).
Gong Jun as Pei li
Tan Jian Ci as Fu Xui Yi
He Xuan Lin as Mei Furen

I think it because it's his clinic. He probably shielded everybody else from responsibility as well. The only reason he went back to the anaesthetist was because he volunteered to be a witness and then bailed, after also having not giving a statement to the police; which made him look suspicious
