Yep. I was thinking that this might be better enjoyed binged. Yifan's thought process are very...unique. Earlier she thought to herself he deserve everything he wants and then decided to abandon him🤦♀️ and now she somehow believes the manthat has been allowing her grope him and look t his bare chest needs to be chased🤷♀️. I really can't stand her family so if resilving that messs, is what is going to be "happening" I'm not pleased. But the main CP is cute and it is sweet and endearing and charming but.... they also lack real conflict. Their only trouble is Yifan's immaturity, relationship-wise (which is fine considering her life). I like 2nd CP's conflict- Hoa An is about to chase someone like he has never dated that has placed him neatly and carefully in the friendzone. Gives you alot to look forward to. The main CP just doesn't have me in a chokehold and they should. But most people are really loving it👍

So by my logic, in Sang Yan's memories that one random thing with his sister chasing an older internet boyfriend to the hated Yihe was not that big a deal! DJX took care of her, she was safe!!
My Head Cannon: The disparity between the events and timelines (and even the casting) of Hidden Love and The First Frost are like "an unreliable narrator" POV. In Sang Yan and in Sang Zhi's stories they remember and see things differently, and possibly inaccurately. For example: In Hidden Love, Sang Yan was just opening his bar when Sang Zhi entered uni but in The First Frost, the bar has been open since before her senior year of high school. You can look at it as Sang Zhi not caring too much about her brother's life to remember correctly when his bar opened. Also the bar is soooo impressive in The First Frost and looked dinghy in Hidden Love. Then with the casting: Sang Zhi considers herself: beautifully and graceful like Zhao Lusi, and Sang Yan considers himself: handsome and sauve like Bai Jing Ting but in each other’s story they are somewhat less impressive 😄. In Sang Zhi eyes Duan Jiaxu is the sexier Chen Zhe Yuan while Sang Yan cast him as that one guy from Rise of Ning. On that note, I really hope to see how the airport scene or beating up DJX from Hidden Love plays out here, and if it does at all really!

The events of The First Frost (so far) are occurring during Sang Zhi's senior year of High School. In Hidden Love, before she hears that Duan Jiaxu is in a relationship, she was saying that she thinks her brother is dating, so I'm guessing we are just around that time zone. We might get to see Sang Yan pick Sang Zhi up from the airport after getting her heart broken in Yihe.

What exactly is even going on in his head. She is a senior by age and in the workplace. Why does he act like... I don't even know how to describe it?! But who acts like that!? He's behaving like they have a past relationship and he has "ownership" of her. Reminds me of Miles Wei's character in Flourished Peony... a milder version though 🤭
No ones is talking about it but I absolutely LOVE the Hao An and Si Qioa CP. I see so much of Su Zai Zai in Si Qiao, and SZZ is one of my most beloved favouritest characters of all times! I want more from the couple...🙏🙏🙏🙏please don't let me down
