I hope this is a better revenge drama than The Long Ballad. The revenge there was absolute dud and nonexistent.
Maybe that was the point. Sometimes there are things that become more important than a long held revenge. For people to let go of a long-held obsession can be some nice character development.
This is quite fun! The snack-size episodes don't allow for any time to be wasted on draggy bits, so the story moves along nicely. The bromance is giving me some serious Word of Honor vibes, maybe because one of the leads looks a bit like ZZH... The subtitles, however, are horrible! Not only are they very often nonsensical but, starting around episode 7 they are no longer in synchronicity with the audio, so that it becomes difficult to work out who is saying what.
When Chu Bu Fu/ Wan Jie died, Mu Yu died, Qin Ke died, Luo Yin Fan died, scene where Yin Fan went disappear after…
Yes, the ending has to be good, otherwise all that angst feels like it was for nothing. Sadly very few dramas take the time give us a decent ending. All these additional episodes and epilogues are just patch-work and I find them rather pointless. It's like buying a car and the 4th tyre is a special edition that needs to be purchased seperately 🙄 I couldn't get through L&R... it felt like a xianxia version of Dawson's Creek to me and every 10 secs someone yelled "Si Feng" 😂

I think I've never cried as much as during Princess Silver.... so if you're ever going to watch it, prepare tissues! Yes, I'm also looking forward to Till the End of the Moon, but I think it will be a while until we get to see this...
This is the worst drama I ever watched passed 60% of the episodes, and regretfully that was 30s eps of my wasted…
I feel with you... every time she calls "shifu" in that stupid baby-voice my toes curl up. It saddens me to see my favourite actor JT in such a bad production.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RATING? I was so excited for this, is it really that bad?ðŸ˜
Very bad writing, bad editing, bad make-up. Acting is mostly good (girlie playing the FL needs a few more acting lessons) and the music is good. It makes me very sad to say this, but the current rating of 7.5 seems about right to me.

I'm with you on RunYu - it's the reason why I had to drop AoL (well, that and the kitschy setting and the annoying FL, to be honest). Sadly, not even LYX could save the car-crash that was And the Winner is Love. His role in Princess Silver was another sad one, but at least it's a half-way decent story.
Helloy beautiful clownies. As you're clowning and having fun, School is swallowing me up yet I only read like…
My special "awake" mix: 1 pressed orange, 1 teaspoon of vitamin C powder, 1/2 teaspoon guarana powder. This will keep you going for hours. It's a tried and tested recipe.
Oh no!No wonder the ratings are soo low.I didn't start this yet !Anything good about this drama?
Don't waste your time, dear. I'm only watching this for JT and still every episode feels like a chore (it kind of reminds me of watching ATWIL... ). Well, what is good about it? The acting is pretty good (most of the characters are annoying as hell, but still the actors are doing a good job with it). The setting and the costumes are nice (the make-up is awful, though). The music is good.
In the novel Sima Miaoyuan doesn't appear until the second arc. Wen Lingzhi is the girl who gets accepted along…
Thanks for the details. The writers behind this drama are guilty on so many accounts, but most of all they seem lazy. Why go for a complicated, nuanced character, when a stereotype is so much easier to write.

Fortunately there are some clever/strong women doing overtime to get him out of trouble.
