Hi! "A Story" hasn't been adapted yet, from what I know. It's premise is a bit similar to "Speed and Love", the main characters aren't related but they share the same family name (which is just a coincidence) and used to live in the same household during highschool. They had a secret past romance too. Thing is, this one's a bit of a "dark romance" because the male character is really obsessed with the female one, to the point of really wishing they were siblings so they'd even share the same blood (lol). It's also nsfw.

What annoyed me most about this drama, the male lead loved the female lead with all his heart and did everything…
i honestly believe she showed him more love and respect through her eyes, support and guidance than one that can show affection through touching and words. for me it was more palpable than that.

Title Against the Current Spoiler
I saw a comment on Weibo about this debate about "did she love him or not" and I had to share. The comment…
Exactly! That reminds me of when she told Xiulai's kids her reasons for living, but left him out and some people thought she didn't love him because of that. I’d argue she didn't mention him not because she lacks love for him, but because partners in life don't live for each other—they live with each other. Their lives are already entwined, walking the same path side by side (the way he chose to walk the same path as her when he gave up his position in the capital to come home). When one leaves early, the other doesn't follow; instead, they carry on that shared path by living for their kids, guiding them, and watching over them when the other partner no longer can (this as a parallel to the ending). So I think that quote is literally spot on for Lanxiang!

My heart hurts like I miss something about this series,am not even sure why?Why does she have to end alone?Like…
you come with nothing in this world, you leave with nothing. it s a pretty realistic story about life to be honest. it can't always be perfect and happy. in life we have beautiful happy moments and we also have very sad ones. death is inevitable, we just don't know when it is our time, but the most important thing we must do while we have time... is to live. that's the takeaway from this whole drama: live. every moment you live is another precious memory. and that's the only thing you'll take away with you when you have no time left.

why are ppl saying she didn't love him?? i mean she didn't at first, but then she did gradually learn to love him and rely on him... love is a very complex feeling and not everyone shows it the same way.

I’d like to ask you something, if you don’t mind. Are you Turkish? I’m asking in English because I wasn’t…
it's my name, but it's Denisa.

I agree but why you added a spoiler tag?
Oh, it s because I thought it might give away the plot a bit.

Finally finished this! The end was sooo emotional, it all truly hit so deep.
I wouldn't have expected to really care so much about each one of the bus passengers. It truly makes you think about the people around you that you see every day on your commute—people that you think nothing of, lives that you pass by and through, like parallel lines. Or like trains passing by each other.
We're all tiny dust, but at the same time, the tiny dust we're built of comes from the stars. The meaningless and mundane lives of each one of us in a greater picture: the sweat forming on an older man's forehead sitting right in front of you, the little girl with pigtails and a schoolbag, all coming home to their loved ones from a full day at work or school.
All of these lives together—in the in-between of them apart, and them together at home with their loved ones, with their wholeness.

Every living being in this world has more worth than can ever be transposed in words.

Beautifully written show!

this show is so good all episodes are interesting please recommend something very similar and addictive
seven relics of ill omen! i promise it won't disappoint and it has a beautiful meaningful message by the end. also the few beginning episodes are a bit slow and it might seem like a lot of info thrown around but for me personally, it clicked at some point and i swear i got sooo addicted. it's got a bit of everything and lots of action/adventure.

The romance is minimal. I, like many others, watched for the romance and was disappointed. Most of the romance…
I see. Thank you!
