Boring??? Filler? Where??? All of the political plot literally got explained (finally) Its been 30eps of straight angst and romance, we can spare a few mins to explain the actual political intrigue that is driving the drama (and the leads) forward... relax
From CY's perspective *she is the head of household*. When she married YZ she swore to protect him and provide for him. Her character is keeping up with the vow she made to the man she married; a man she rescued from near death and carried in through the snow on multiple occasions, *just because we know *that he is the Marquis* does not mean that she knows this.
She is not infantizing him, she is honoring him by upholding the vow she made to the man she married.
If she knew she was married to the Marquis she obviously would regard him differently.

I hope CY doesn't let YZ off the hook too easily because he's been lying for too long and he could have just told her the truth.

From what I understood of the confession from her "grandfather" Her father was educated, however he was pretending to be someone who was not (the real Fan Eurin was deceased) so he could not break that character to educate her otherwise his cover would be blown.

as Butchers they were probably busy tending to the animals and making sure they can survive. But also if they were on the run, they probably didn't want to do too much that would elevate anyone's attention to who they really are, and what they know. They chose to educate CY in the things that could keep her alive and living a peaceful life.

I don't think the issue is that she lost control of her emotions... she should be able to express her full range of emotions just like the other male characters. She also shouldn't be shielded from the punishments for her actions. What she did was wrong and def against military code. There should be some level of punishment because her actions could have endangered everyone not just herself.
The hilarious part is the ML is both the one giving the punishment and receiving the punishment on her behalf because he's too far gone. In reality he should have confessed to being the Marquis and chastised her as himself so honestly he deserves some punishment as well.
The sweet moments between YZ and FCY were too perfect and I could only cheer as Qi Shu told YZ to stop lying. I loved all the moments with the NPBS, and YZ/XZ dramatical play at the end to try and punish NBPS made me laugh and sigh, he's going to such lengths to keep FCY safe when he could just tell the truth.
I can't wait for the truth to come out and XZ to really get his angst on.
Also want to do an honorable mention for NingNing. The poor girl just wants to sleep I don't think anyone is rooting for YZ and FCY to get together harder than her so she can have her bed back.

Exactly! I am excited for these last 17 episodes. I know there will plenty of scenes for ZLH but in the mean time I am absolutely loving getting to know the rest of the characters. I didn't know I could love so many characters at one time.
The people complaining about the lack of ZLH are missing out on a very epic story about a fantastic FL and also the journey of the side characters who are equally lovable.
This cast is absolutely stacked with beautiful, talented actors and moving storylines and amazing visual effects. Complaining about ZLH not being in every second is so grating.

Even our beloved FL was on the brink of death and fell off the cliff 2x but is still swinging hammers the next day. 😅 I 100% love this show but the cliffs are fake... I refuse to believe they are made of anything other than cotton fluff.

I think, he didn't tell her because he doesn't want change the way she sees him. He would rather be a matriarchal husband 'Yan Zheng' and follow her every word but once she knows he is really 'Marquis Wu’an' he worries she will not be as candid and fall into the behavior of all the other people from the capital who just see him as his title or maybe she will think she is not elite enough to be part of that world.
