I was also confused at first with the living situation, but then I understood. She has a studio where she work…
Thank you for explaining the living situation because I was still lost lol. 😂
As for the glasses, I remember in the scene where SR came on his Bday he mentioned he wears the glasses so people find him less approachable, so perhaps he doesn't need them.
This season did have so many weird plot points and dialog moments I don't blame you for not remembering that part lol (I wish I could forget it).
Having watched and loved Yumi Cells from the beginning I am sad to find, Season 3 is the worst of the series. This season felt hollow compared to the previous seasons.
The character development, interactions (of both the humans and cells) and drive felt rushed and disorganized. Moreover why does Season 3 seem like it was filmed during the pandemic? Most scenes only had 1 or 3 people max and the dialog was lacking. And as far as the relationship between Yumi and Shin I don't get it. He smiled at her and that was it????
Wung carried her 12 blocks to the hospital and left daily positive comments to drown out haters, Babi was romantic and encouraged her every step of the way. Shin was bland, and rude then he smiled and that was it??? They had Yumi chasing this man around the hotel like a stalker. I can't.
And I don't get her office situation, was she commuting? Why did she get on the bus if she was already home?
Also, I want to say as far as styling goes, S3 was Yumi's worst.
The unrealistic “beauty standards” are dreamt by people who get paid to do so. They sell makeup, clothing,…
My comment was clearly about the gender divide. That's what I was focusing on. The beauty industry has been preying upon women's insecurities for hundreds of years, the first time a man is highlighted as a pinnacle standard for beauty all of the sudden the rules need to change. I don't think we should just ignore or accept that without asking serious questions. Men need to step it up.
I find it more interesting that this conversation only began after the ML was found to be too incredibly attractive (for a fictional tale). Meanwhile billions of women worldwide are expected to follow unrealistic beauty standards as the norm. Seems to me the-powers-that-be (aka men) are only moving to change the rules now because they know they cannot match ZLH visually or substantively. I think we need to spend more time thinking about why men get to change the rules for beauty standards while women can only hope to attain them.
something her mom left to her when she died, when she died, she wanted to talk to her daughters but she couldn't…
yup, I remember that part of the series when they explained how CY came to possess it, but why would her mom think having the hairpin would explain anything? CY put so much significance into protecting it and now we will never know the reason her mom specifically wanted her to have it.
So what was the ultimate significance of her mother's hair pin? I kept thinking that was goin to turn out to some major key in the plot but it was forgotten after episode 18 🙃
The point is the Emperor is not supposed to be fit, he is on the other end of the spectrum from Qi Min... They both showcase how they are unfit but for completely different reasons, while Bo'er demonstrates his ability even tho he is only 9.
I kinda liked they showed what this Emperor was really like.
It feeds into the underlying plot. The Emperor scenes inform why he is unfit to rule, the chaos going on in the court between the two warring factions, and how it directly ends up affecting the common people.
Also it was nice to have some funny scenes after so many heavy episodes full of angst.
I also love how CY's lack of formal education allows her to easily rise above the politics and call out all the issues in the room where the men are debating if she should even hold the rank she merited on her own.
For me it was a great episode that added another layer of insight.
Why are you still watching. why are you posting? Find something else to watch
They didn't provide any opinion they provided judgement. I told them to find something more to their liking save this space for the people who actually enjoy the drama.
After watching all these episodes taking place in the capital/court it's even more obvious why XZ fell for CY... she's refreshing, cheerful and direct even when she's trying to hold back. The fact that she's pretty is almost a side note compared to how she carries herself.
It's not necessary but I find it so refreshing that he's not like usual characters who, for their own motives,…
yup, he has developed so much as a character from the first time we saw him so I don't mind his pining as long as he doesn't interfere with the main couple

I am actively going to act like S3 doesn't exist
but yes we can certainly disagree
