I always thought this was a rather stupid controversy, adult relationships end, and actors are people, not prince-type…
It was already proven that pretty much nothing the gf said can be taken seriously. A lot of their private conversations were shown through messages and even the gf's own friends turned against her and revealed shit about her, while defending him. There was no proof of him shit-talking his co-workers, the gf cheated on him and lied about going go clubs with other men which is the reason they broke up before getting back together, the gf was the one who brought up the abortion first etc.
Korean cancel culture is seriously messed up. It's been two years. It was already proven almost right away the girl friend was an ex with a grudge who lied. And he still needs to keep apologizing? And articles like this that make his short apology the headline, instead of talking about the movie which was the main point of the press con. It's all ridiculous.
Okay, the first teaser made me think it's going to be boring, more serious and cheesy type of romance. But the third teaser really highlighted the comedy genre. I loved the first half of Crash Course in Romance, it was hilarious. A romantic comedy that really focused on being funny and silly is something I can really enjoy and the third teaser really made me look forward to this being that kind of show.
My only concern is the fact that this is 16 episodes, it's hard to keep a romantic comedy entertaining so far and the second half usually has some kind of angsty plot, so I wonder what storylines they're going to bring into this and I hope they're well executed and don't drag the story in the second half.
It's so close for those in some asian countries, but there's no change it will release in my country here in northern europe T T So I still have a long wait to go, since it usually takes forever for movies to release on the internet compared do dramas
It's getting kind of pathetic how I check everyday whether there's any news for a new drama ;A; Please give some news soon, so I can move on from this stalker persona v___v;;
Or at least a new variety show appearance (which seems unlikely, given his shy personality)
Seeing how big stars Junho and Yoona both are currently, there *has* to be a twist to this right? The introduction sounds really boring and corny, but it doesn't actually tell much about the drama. It just gives a basic introduction to the main characters. So I'm trusting that Junho and Yoona wouldn't have chosen this unless the script included more than just cheesy romance and actually has an entertaining plot to go with the cheese.
Just watched his I Live Alone appearance and I love how the hosts kept getting baffled by his personality. Since he's handsome, at first they kept praising him for everything mundane, but slowly they started getting more and more confused by what he'd do xD
Finally there's a release date, I'm so excited T T June is so close, though I just realized it will still take a while for me to be able to watch it, since it's usually quite a while until movies are uploaded online...
First they said The Childe would release early 2022 in 2021 (which seemed unlikely - too fast, but some believed it), then they said it'd release late 2022, then early 2023... And here we are and still no release date T T I'm having a hard time understanding why people think Tyrant would release this year when it hasn't even finished filming yet and The Childe which finished filming a year ago still doesn't even have a date.
Anyway, I just wish at least one of his projects would release this year...
Will it really release this year? The Childe finished filming almost a year ago and there's still no release date. I'd love if this came out later this year, but seeing that it's still filming, seems quite unlikely...
I'm glad he decided on a mystery thriller drama instead of the historical one, since I don't really like the genre. Mystery on the other hand, right up my alley. And I loved the FL in Sweet Home, I really hope they both confirm soon and start filming. I know The Childe will release this year, but it'd be amazing if his drama was able to start airing this year too ; >
