Sounds fun... but can't find any news related to this, is the project dead compeltely? Have they filmed it and left it rotting in a closet? Or is it just in an endless production hiatus...
Has anyone heard any news about this? I see a comment from 2 years ago saying poster is out... exactly how long…
Edit: went to twitter and saw news confirming it should release by the end of this year. Given that Namgil will have to promote Fiery priest 2 from November, I'd assume they would release this before then.
Lmao, Namgil said in a recent interview, that he wants do romance now that he's old, but here he is with another action role xD He's the best at action I've seen outta korean actors tho, so I hope he will keep doing them as long as his body can handle it lol.
it's a shame they cut down the episodes... Idk if they will release it as season 2, it was quite successful as…
How was it successful? Were the netflix viewer ratings good? I hadn't heard any noise of this when it released, so I thought it didn't do well. I was just gonna watch it for Namgil but was overall pleasantly surprised. Hopefully they will do season 2 even if it takes a few years, Arthdal Chronicles took 4 years to get a sequel out too so I think there could be hope.
I thought this was very good, hadn't heard any talk about it though. Hopefully once Namgil is done with TFP2 and Trigger they would do a second season.
Namgil is amazing, I don't know why but the scene where he desperately tried to land in Japan made me tear up, he barely said anything but just his expression alone, along with the atmosphere was so intense.
Felt really draggy somehow, I was so invested in S1 but getting through S2 was a hurdle. Thankfully I liked the main characters and Zhu Yi Long's pretty face helped me through the rest lol.
I like the characters but the plot and especially the execution of it is ridiculously overdramatic and messy... And they would've needed a lot bigger budget for the special effects to look good.
I like to score generously but am still thinking of giving this only a 6,5, if I wasn't such a fujoshi it'd be lower.
Junho fans seem quite toxic criticizing every FL that gets paired with him. I hope my favorite actress won't ever…
I'm glad I haven't come across these type of fans yet. I'm a a big fan of his for years before he became a ''big thing'' and I've only seen fans that are excited to hype the artists he interacts with. Maybe I follow the right fans, and mostly on twitter so I don't know about other platforms. I wonder when these type of ''fans'' (more like obsessed freaks) realize they'll only bring harm to Junho with their behavior.
The first episode didn't do it for me, the humor just didn't land and I thought I'd watch the rest just for Seonho, but OMG the 2nd episode, I was cackling so much 🤣 How can a show change so much in just one episode?? In the first episode the humor just felt awkward and overdone and I mean it's still the same excreted type in the 2nd episode, but either I got used to it or the show managed to fine-tune it in just that time, but now it's doing it's job and I'm dying here.
So if anyone else felt that after episode 1 it's just not for you, try one or two more episodes! You just might find yourself laughing a lot. (Ofc if you like really subtle humor and not the really obvious gag style, then I guess it might not be for you)
The initial synopsis doesn't interest me but Seonho and Sohee would be a dream pairing, their chemistry during 100DMP interviews and especially last year's AAA really got me hooked to see more of them together
What are the changes this releases this year, what do you guys think? I read that the filming is supposed to happen between June and November so isn't there a change for it to release in December or even end of November?
HomCha released while they were still filming after all, and to my understanding that seems to be pretty usual for longer dramas, but I don't know how things work for such a short drama as this, if they want the filming to be done before releasing. But given that they're filming so long for a drama with 6 episodes, maybe it will be released in two 6 episode parts, like Island was.
