Yuta's my favorite in NCT so I wanted to watch this for him, but I'm always a little bit worried about seeing my favorite idols act for the first time, as they tend to be really flat or overact. Yuta did really well though, I hope he'll act more in the future.
Her hair made her look older than ML but in the flashback, she was in national team so maybe late teen, early…
I figured that, but it I guess it just bothers me that they made them so young.
In real life Kyungho is turning 40 this year and Doyeon 50. Since about 10 years seem to have passed since the flashback the characters should be in their early to mid thirties. Considering their respective real ages and looks (don't get me wrong, they're both really good looking and youngish for their ages), it would've made more sense to make the characters be in their early 40's to late 30's. There would've been nothing wrong with a romance story between people in their 40's instead.
Just a personal petbeeve for me, to make actors play roles that are either much older than younger than their looks/real age. But it overall doesn't hinder my enjoyment much.
I love the comedy, the funny chemistry between the leads, Kyungho, this is the first time watching the FL and she seems great, the pacing (most dramas these days are too fast paced so that there's no proper buildup or emotional impact for individual scenes).
The stalker girl really annoyed me and the top student as well, but as long as they don't focus on the students too much it's fine. I'm a little confused about the main leads' ages based on the flashback... But mostly I really enjoyed the first two episodes, even if I rarely like romcoms that much. Can't wait for next weekend!
God that stalker girl pisses me off, the moment she busted her way into his apartment I wanted to slam down the screen and reading comments it's about to get worse...
I enjoy the cast, the main trio are all people I'm fond of but the writing/directing in this has so far been kinda silly, though it surprisingly hasn't hindered my enjoyment much.
Saw clips of Eunwoo's (and Jongsuk's) scenes on twitter and people should really throw his scenes in the faces of those who claim he can't act. I mean damn, boy was finally able to showcase what he's got and all the praise I saw him get from knetz as definitely deserved.
Just saw clips of Decibel and everyone should throw his scenes into the faces of clowns who claim he can't act.
I have always said it's about the role, he's played characters that are supposed to be poker faced or characters that are more light-hearted, but in Decibel he got to show those heavy emotions I've always believed him to be capable of portraying (we already saw a glimpse in the hospital scene in True Beauty). He played his previous roles exactly like they were supposed to and I've never seen the awkwardness/flatness I see people accusing him of.
I hope in Island and the dog drama he'll get to showcase more of that intensity and even if there aren't such scenes, people will stop butting it up to his inability to convey emotions and just realize it's about the character/scene that any other actor would've portrayed the same.
He's never been bad and has grown better in his every role like all young actors, people really should stop hating on his skills just because they've heard others do the same.

Ps. Jonguk was amazing as always.
