I have the exact same opinion. I was initially intrigued by the concept and the first episodes seemed intriguing but the story fell apart very quickly.

I totally agree. I warmed up to the romance after a while but it really felt like Philip and Sion couldn't exist outside of it. It was better when it was more subtle, especially at the beginning. I wish we had gotten more about Sion's backstory and how she got to meet Shin, while it would have been nice if we had seen other aspects of Philip's personality.
