We made it 💯🔥
what happened, like ??? but then again, i don't judge actors or actresses harshly because there is a whole crew of directors and writers that saw this transpire and agreed on it
The cinematography and music are the best thing about this drama, while the romance is so fast like they running in the Olympics which I love, I don’t want a slow burn romance, it’s kind of questionable when it comes to the series of events in episode 4~5.
It ruined the mood and made the female lead look too childish for a college aged person, regardless of if it’s the 80s or 2000s , lookism is a thing since the dawn of mankind, but risking your entire squad because you got whipped by a guy is kind of selfish.
I wish Yoo in na had more screen time and I wish the headmistress had a better get up than what they are making her look like.
The acting is mediocre , the male lead is actually acting so questionable he is the least favorable out of everyone.
Some crying scenes were exaggerated to the point it felt like makjang but well.
Regardless of the childish comments here of excessive fake praise or fake noise anger.
Truth is it’s entertaining as a teen romance.
No performance is worth mentioning.
Except for the veteran actors as Hae Joon Ho / Park Sung Woong / Kim Jung Nan
Now I can’t believe the female lead kept smiting even after finding who is he or apparently he is.
The scene where she was praying for him or so whatever, was so dystopian and out of this world like a black comedy, it felt so surreal , because it had one of the worst acting I’ve witnessed and it felt like parody but maybe that’s what they were going for.
Overall I’m staying, surprised by the female lead : disappointed in the male lead BIG time.
Don’t reply to me talm bout history. Please
I am enjoying it and mostly the comedy aspect of the show, The talented bad guy meets the heroic child like K, I love that K’s identity is revealed very soon, it allows for more chaos and makes the comical timing much better than making it one of the big reveals, the rivalry for love and K’s childlike behavior makes me think he’s much more than what they made us believe.
Now the main question is : Fellas is it gay to fall for yourself?
Jokes aside, having K on the screen makes you feel reassured that everything will work out for the best.
It’s fast paced , funny and it got me smiling
The biggest twist would be if they made K , not a split personality but an actual person, who just brainwashed oppa 😂😂
I know that won’t happen but it would solve the problem of split personality endings, which is , they have to disappear.
My take is K , is Ryu’s childhood alter ego, the heroic crazy badass he wish he were.
It does have its merits and flaws.
I’ll write my thoughts and impressions and post em up shortly
This drama is straight FIRE 🔥
my favorite pet is from Lets eat part one, he is one the mains!
other than that the article is perfect and adding lee min ho made me happy <3
Which would have solved some problems if they did.
At least the drama set up the space theme for Kdramas and I hope for many other space epics to come
8.6/10
When earth is dry, look to the sky for answers,
Being a sci-fi epic, I was worried it would fall into the stupid “CGI battle with no story or substance” category.
Luckily it was not, the story while new, still had the reoccurring theme of wealth is not equally distributed which leads to the unfair reality we live in.
As a last hope attempt, they leave on a quest to find salvation for humanity only to find out the obvious, humans are T.R.A.S.H™️.
The rough script is balanced out with stellar performance from the veteran cast that makes it extremely enjoyable.
The beautiful music also helps excite and execute the feels that the show wanted to portrays.
Sadly the world setting was established so fast, leaving nothing to do in the 8 episode drama than drag and become a rough execution.
The premise is one we can relate to, being far away from home, the feeling of emptiness, the murky intentions of strangers . all make the story very enjoyable.
But having the story set with the earth dying as a background, kind of makes the individuals problems and story not that impactful, unless you forget earth.
This drama is good way to end the amazing year for Korean entertainment reaching a wider audience with squid game / Hellbound / my name.
Original rating 7.5
My rating 8.6 for Bae Donna Performance and Gong Yoo’s sexy face.
If you like the actors involved this is an easy binge. Don’t expect profound messages here because the mark was missed a few times.
Bae Donna and Gong Yoo always pick the right job. Sadly the script is good but the overall story and conclusion left me a bit underwhelmed
Let GOOOOO 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Rival girl group have visited the blue house, to force their hand into banning the drama.
