which I hold close to my skin,
to see how much pain I can stand,
before running to the water.
Yakuza and the family
7.7/10
Deep, nuanced, gripping, engaging, slow in pace yet always simmering with emotions at the top.
“I wanted to be a normal human. I wanted to live a normal life. I wanted to work hard and become a proper human being. I didn’t care if that life was boring. I wanted us to have fun on our days off. That is the kind of life I wanted.”
Well done boo :*
You could be the next Shakespeare
This drama is as healing as an expired aspirin pill laced with pcp in an expired Taco Bell crush wrapped cooked by a student who has 30k student dept and depression.
This might be the first drama I ever drop
10/10
This is the easiest thing I’ve watched in a whileeeeee
I already wanna rewatch it
Heartwarming, funny as hell and cinematography 💯💯💯
All the character relationships are amazing
No one is left out of the growth process, every character is expanded upon.
Reply 1988 plus prison playbook = racket boys
7.7/10
Positive portrayal of illnesses and LGBT
Amazing dialogue, you can feel their discomfort and madness.
Toxicity without malice, the people are genuinely disturbed.
The story wraps up well and you can really feel for the characters.
You don’t have the Kdrama cheesy elements.
It’s like flower boy next door, but mature and realistic edition.
The acting is so good. No oppa bullshit.
People ask for help and don’t ask to be understood.
The comedy is like one of the best I’ve seen.
It’s 30 minutes per episode so it went by fast.
I’ll rewatch it one day for sure
4/10
Literally an easy plot that can be done perfectly for wholesomeness and heartwarming scenes, turned into some teen bully drama, which sucked.
They couldn’t focus on school drama or adult drama or office based politics or teacher student relationships without bullying or blackmail or whatever useless thing to get easy cheers.
This is not one instance, this is 90% of the drama.
Quick guess in 16 episodes how many slow motion umbrella raining scenes are there? 7
How many misunderstandings are there? Million
The only good thing about the drama is that everyone is hot.
Guys and girls are nice to look at, and oska.
Other than that no.
Giving the female lead the illusion of choice while we all know her real choice or what the writers planned on, is weak.
Preachy and it’s literally yelling “see she had all these men!” But she chose her one and only, like we can be soulmates without exterior challenges chill.
