Stay strong my homeboys
It’s like a fancy chess board and ♟ pieces
But I don’t like chess.
Lovely music
Cast synergy isn’t there yet, some shaky camwork with some performances lacking,
Mediocre pilot but I think I will stay.
Or rewatch favorite scenes 🤒
10/10
First let’s talk about me, nah I’m messing, let’s talk about the drama, with it being 25 minutes x 12 episodes, I’ve watched it in 2 days ,, TWICE.
It doesn’t take more than few minutes for you to warm up to the three girls, excellent written characters each with their own quirks, professions, dumbAssery but still always have each other’s backs.
With enough comedy to make you crack a rib from laughing and so much and I mean so much heart, it just smooths out every outcome.
Yes there is a lot of drinking and at points it felt overwhelming but the writers really went out there to make the plot amazing even though they had a sitcom timer running.
I’ll probably rewatch this next week too.
It’s been a long time since I gave out a 10/10
So this was a happy accidental watch.
I noticed nana only wears white or blue, to signify her innocence and sadness.
But yeah, two broken people tryna manipulate each other won’t result in a good relationship.
Just look at the roses, they didn’t have any thorns, and our leads, oh so thorny.
I’m busy protecting you ™️
Guys I’m falling in love
The dark comedy and Manga style storytelling is the most amazing part of it all.
The characters are like very so animated and you feel their emotions.
Found family feels are the best.
Hoping for a season 2
7.9/10
Yeah I’m CUFFED
This drama is giving me overtime happiness
I guess it crossed the stream for me 😂❤️
Well there are no squids in the show 0/10
Now that I’ve gotten that lame joke out of the way, let’s start the review.
This is an excellent show, don’t let the overhype or your annoying coworkers or your friends lead you to not watch it and see it for what it is, brutal social commentary.
The series is vibrant in its colors and very shallow in its characters, with everyone on his own and lacking any humanity (except a few) things go ultra violent every episode.
Remaking famous children’s games from the 1970~80s to be the basis of the show, it has its charm in a way.
Putting forth the spotlight on the suffering and deprived class of South Korea, the show trudges on forward with copious amounts of twists and turns by pushing the 456 participants to the absolute limits of humanity and make them question the moral code more often than not.
It’s always fun to see how people act and react to different new surroundings under pressure and on the verge of insanity.
7.7/10
“Good Rain Knows The Best Time To Fall”
4/10
Just as the time goes, the start was sweet but the rest is sour, it fails at delivering any meaningful story, sorry actually it fails at everything.
But oppa is hot so I stayed.
This one is an easy pass.
Yoo ah in, the guy I call Midas whatever he touches turn into gold, sadly even Midas failed to turn this golden.
When your time is up and you fulfill your prophecy, 3 hell gorillas with the best catwalk CGI come to take you to the other side.
As real life goes, the cultist and fanatics turn on all the condemned and the premise itself is promising but with six episodes and not much to work on, the shows steam dies out with confusion on whether to be a social commentary or a supernatural horror show or just stick to thriller, ambitious in its ideas but lacked any execution to make it stand out in the sea of better dramas.
Yoo Ah In and the cast was amazing and poured they hearts out.
The thing it did well was the commentary it provided about how flawed we are as humans and the flaws of the modern media and how it’s consumed.
If you love the cast, then give it a go.
