I just finished ep 1. It's kind of over the top. But...considering all of the good reviews....great comments...and recommendations from others...I'll keep at it.

Ahhh....the hypocrisy of the person who criticizes others for what he himself/herself also does.

Tajia, what a very Interesting comment for someone who didn't even watch this drama...and who, in fact, has already given an opinion regarding the BL status of this drama. And I quote what you wrote in another comment:

"I didn't watch this drama, but even to me it's clear the makers are trying to fish in two ponds,no friend look at the other friend like that,no friend hallucinate each other,but yeah it's definitely not BL because the makers are trying to queerbait and straight bait at the same time."

Cana Canary, it is not gay at all. It's not even a bromance. It's just a turbulent and complicated friendship. People who want it to be a BL are projecting it as one.

LOL...and she wears a cross hanging from her neck. They've done an excellent job in conveying how sinister her character is.

I'm not feeling that at all. I see the solidification of a life long friendship at the end.

For all of you bromance vs. BL people out there. I just finished ep. 8. Up to this point I see it as a friendship...a very complicated and conflicted friendship. Maybe things will change as the series moves forward....but I don't see a bromance here....and definitely not a BL.

Do you guys even understand what a bromance is? Your best friend is your other half but without any sexual feelings. He's yours and you're his. You're inseparable...and no other guys can take his place.

Maybe this series is leading up to a bromance...but I just don't see one yet.

I still can't wrap my head around Pio denying a close friendship with Jeong Yo during the interview. Some here have said it was because he thought stating the truth would anger his mother. I'm not buying that argument. There was something deeper going on. Any thoughts?

I skip Hollywood productions and go straight for the K dramas now. I wonder if Hollywood is feeling the pinch.

And..Chita has no family...and moves from place to place to place. Sounds kind of creepy.

Chita threw up after eating. He walks with a limp due to a leg injury. Remember what Ken told James? A Nour can eat food...but will immediately vomit it up. And...to injure a Nour, aim for the joints. A Nour's joints take a long time to heal.

Chita most likely is a Nour.

I'm curious. What type of rating is everyone giving this series so far? I just finished ep. 7 and am rating it a 10/10.

I can't understand why Pio didn't pour his heart out at the interview and reveal his true feelings...the Jeong Yo was his soulmate...that his life unraveled when Jeong Yo disappeared...that his greatest wish was to see him again. But then again....I'm an American of European/Asian descent. Maybe the Koreans are not as open about these things in a public forum like Americans are.

Sometimes bromances turn into romances. We'll see how it all plays out.

Your theory is fascinating. Jeong Yo not only has his full memory...but he also is still a master pianist. But...I'm not sure where you're going with this. How do you think this scenario would play out?

She was the criminal mastermind. It's very unnerving for her forJeong to even be in Korea.

I agree that Love Upon a Time was a disappointment.

I will support August in his future projects. But Leng? No thanks. If I see that he's the lead character in anymore BL series, I'll skip them.
