Happy Ending. Yes.

Can someone explain the ending
We were given enough clues throughout the series about the powers of the "miracle boy". He created a rain storm. He had lightening strike his antagonist's water supply. He kept a bottle suspended in mid air. So in the end, yes, he does deactivate the threat of the meteor. The meteor no longer threatens the world...and the world is saved. The story comes from a manga. I read the manga. And their romance? It's renewed. But for how long? Who knows? Until the next act of infidelity probably.

Personally, I love open-ended scenario. It gives you the chance to make your own ending. You want to it be happy…
If you read the manga, it's not open ended. The world is saved.

I'm curious as to what "real life issues" the series addresses. Could you fill me in please?
A possibly unwanted pregnancy. Discussion of abortion. Parents unable to accept their child's disability. Mother leaving her young son to be raised by someone else. The fallout effect of a husband leading a double life. The anguish of losing a business that you built from the start. Class distinctions. Financial struggles. Loss of a beloved mother. Letting go of the past to move forward into the future. The emotions associated with the razing of a historic district to make room for a parking lot for a developer's project. The integrity of not taking advantage of someone's kindness for your own self interest. And the list will go on.

Flawless. Excellent acting. Beautiful cinematography. It touches serious topics with respect. I rate it as an unsurpassable 10.

Mesmerizing. Beautiful. Not a BL...not even a bromance. But...it is a love story...a love story between them that will endure for life.

Excellent analysis. Thank you. Nevertheless, this was a very painful series to watch.

I actually think it would be better if you didn't see Season One, since this season turns one of the characters…
Season 2 is a huge disappointment. It was dark and emotionally painful.
