In response to everyone who made comments that Mo Yan is annoying and makes no sense. First of all, in the book,…
I'm at episode 2 and I don't understand why people would find Mo Yan annoying, truly. Sure, she is, as you say, lacking real-life experience, but she's resourceful, observant, and can do things that Zhan Zhao would never think of: while he does thing the straight way, she'll think outside the box and find different ways of getting things done. They complement each other, imo: she's lively and reckless, he's serious and honorable. She'll mature at his contact, and he'll learn to loosen up and let go a little. It's a pretty good combination so far. Of course, it go downhill later on, but I think so far it's pretty well done.
WYB's character (Baili Erlang?) looks a LOT like Tang Fan from The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty (foodie, not really…
I'm watching episode 2 and I have to agree with you regarding Yehua and Gao Bingzhu. Especially Gao Bingzhu. He doesn't come across as likable at all. I'm mostly interested in Baili Hongyi right now, wondering why the informers came to him of all people. He also seems like a caring type. I'm not a fan of the camera work, it seems frantic, doesn't leave any time to appreciate the sets, just randomly speeds through them.
HaiShi needs to get out of the miserable life that she's living like what is she waiting for ???? to rot as a…
IKR!! Youdu barely came in, but he's so much better than the leads, and this entire unrequited love plot is completely useless. I honestly can't take his suffering, so this is where I drop out.
I'm seeing more and more CDramas rip off music from KDramas and I'm wondering how they keep getting away with…
Even if they did have the same production companies, that wouldn't be an excuse. It's also always CDramas ripping off music from KDramas. None of the tracks I did notice were from classical music either, they were all composed for the dramas they were plagiarized from.
I'm going to watch this drama today, can anyone tell me is it good?
Depends how many similar shows you've seen before and what you expect from it.
So far I find it terribly bland and lackluster. We're halfway through and there's hardly any plot apart from three separate romances which mostly just stay at a standstill. In fact, one of the six mains is perfectly useless. The main couple also lack chemistry, and the second couple is toxic as heck. That's only my own personal opinion, though, and I know some people who absolutely love it, so I'd encourage you to give it a try and make your own opinion about it.
Does the novel have a happy ending? I want to know before I commit to this. Not in the mood for heartbreak right…
The novel has a sad ending, but from what I understand, they've already changed a lot, so there's a chance they'll change that, too. If you really want to know before you start, you can wait until December 5 when the last episode airs for VIPs and then you'll have your answer.
Oh love start from the point where the logical reasoning ends . So there is no particular reason why Shifu fell…
What I'm afraid of is that Emperor/HS won't be developed properly, percisely because this is too slow. Especially since the synopsis says there are feelings involved. I just don't want her to fall for him overnight or vice versa.
A person irritating you on purpose doesn't excuse an unreasonable response.Of course, a person who holds the position…
He does act like the emperor, though. We've been shown that he's ruthlessly fair when it comes down to it (like when he learned about the pearl corruption), and he's a good ruler: he listens to his advisors' opinions before making a decision, and is always open to discussion and can change his mind later on. He's not a tyrant. As for his attitude, I think he's getting along as well as he can while dealing with his grief, but Tilan does keep purposely provoking him and poking at his gaping wound. To be clear, that does NOT excuse what he did.
Of course, it go downhill later on, but I think so far it's pretty well done.
