So did they cut 20 episodes worth of content (HJJ's scenes?), or do they have a second season ready to air on a shelf somewhere? What do you think?

This was filmed in 2020, if I'm not mistaken, so I really doubt there'll be a season 2... I'm glad I saw this in advance, though, so I'm prepared since I'm already at episode 17. I despise cliffhanger endings, too.

Oh, that's good to know, thank you! Because I'm at episode 10 as well, and she's barely interacted with him (he's barely showed up, tbh), so it's hard to believe he's the ML and they're going to build a love story in 10 episodes...

I keep seeing emaciated horses in dramas, it's really awful. Don't they feed them? Seriously.

Maybe Youku should have thought of that before randomly airing the show. Or maybe they should have dropped the entire thing all at once and been done with it. They're so bad they make MGTV look good right now.

There's a trailer going around for a short drama with the same name, same actors, and the same plot but seemingly more developed. Does anybody know about it? I can't find anything on MDL.

A gentle male lead is a major bonus for me, too. Luo Yinfan is wonderful so far... which probably means he's going to suffer a lot. Remember Sifeng? T.T

It's the same author as Peach Blossom Debt (the one that Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms is plagiarized from), I think. I wish somebody translated the novel.

Does anybody know when they'll release the remaining episodes on YouTube? I know they're on their website, but the subs only work on PC and not if you're watching on a tablet so that's annoying...
