Thank you for confirming. Honestly I'm quite disappointed. I really like the donghua, but this drama strayed way too far from it... Guess I'll just pick the donghua back up. The only reason I'd stopped was because I'd run out of episodes, but it seems like they've piled up nicely since then.

It's been a while since I watched the donghua, but I feel they diverged from it quite a lot, no?

I'm very behind on this show, but I've seen a ton of screenshots of he and Yunxiao also being in some kind of wild tribe, but I don't remember any of this being in the donghua at all. I think I stopped somewhere in S2, and Yunxiao had barely been introduced, if I remember correctly. I also don't remember anything at all about matching couples within the sect or anything.

From what I remember in the donghua, he was sent back in time from the future where everybody died. But it's been a while, so I could be mistaken. The fact that he was transmigrated at the very start doesn't really impact the story much except for the way it makes him very creative with his inventions. (Again, it's been a while, but this is what I remember.)

There shouldn't be (or very light). If I'm not mistaken, in the novel, he has four wives, so no way this is happening here.

You should watch the donghua, it's hilarious!

I've seen the donghua so I knew what to expect, but basically, this entire show is about chaos gremlins all over the place, LCS being the worst of them. The master also has a very unexpected backstory that you'll learn about later. If you're not in the mood for shenanigans, though, this one might indeed not be for you.

The donghua is positively hilarious, that's for sure.

Lmao I started reading this and could NOT wait for the title of the show you'd chosen. I'm rofl right now. I do recommend Fated Hearts or How Dare You!, though, if you're still looking for something good.

Honestly I've only seen him in one or two scenes so far but I wish I could unsubscribe him with extreme prejudice. I haaate corrupt ministers who don't respect anything or anyone. Hopefully his end is very satisfying, I can't wait to see him start losing pawns until he's alone and everything he's built crumbles under his feet.

Yes, they did pretty good with what they had. I've seen worse from dramas with a way bigger budget...

Yes, I was very confused at the beginning of episode 3. We left MTH hiding from the guards in the prison at the end of episode 2, and then suddenly at the start of the following episode, she's out in the desert, changed her clothes, and somehow got into contact with ML. I actually went back to see if there might be a post-credits scene I missed, but no such thing...

I think what they meant by "official" was "final" or something. But yes, it's official, just not the one who'll be used in the end, is my guess.
