Right? I agree! From the cast to the plot development, everything feels waaay better. And we don't even have those awkward silences that kept happening in the Korean one. I feel like the KDrama just dragged things on and on and on even when there was literally no story to tell anymore, so I feel like 10 episodes will be great to tell what's left of the plot.

Zang Hai's. The Lost Tomb is a modern series. A lot of fun, too, I really recommend them. Just don't expect them to make any sense.

Don't forget the absolutely incredible OST. I haven't even watched the show but most of those songs are in my top 10.

If you're looking for a serious secret agent drama, I'm sorry to say the only one I've found so far is The Veil. All the others ended up having incompetent idiots for leads and being comedy.

Her knowing who he is has nothing to do with her knowledge of the world. It was literally served to her on a silver platter when she was eavesdropping on the other caravan when the road collapsed.

You guys should definitely watch The Blood of Youth. It's the one who brought him to the public eye, if I'm not mistaken, and it's absolutely fantastic.

I don't think we know yet or that it'll ever be explained, to be honest. I just took it as the supernatural element that makes the time travel possible.

If what you're looking for is martial arts and sweeping epics, this is definitely not it. Both leads are very smart, however, and complement each other with their own strength and weaknesses. They have an intense relationship and healthy love line. A big part of the story is FL striving to make a place for herself as an independent woman in a world that would see her married off and submissive to the men in her life, while ML is investigating suspicious happenings I won't spoil. It's very good, well acted and well-paced, but there are very few fight scenes. It's more political in nature, I suppose.

Agreed, after how awful she'd been, I really wanted to see her watch everything she cherished crash and burn, and to see her reduced to a commoner.

He's certainly the sly and cunning type. We won't know his true intentions for a while yet, though.
