Zang Hai's. The Lost Tomb is a modern series. A lot of fun, too, I really recommend them. Just don't expect them to make any sense.

Don't forget the absolutely incredible OST. I haven't even watched the show but most of those songs are in my top 10.

If you're looking for a serious secret agent drama, I'm sorry to say the only one I've found so far is The Veil. All the others ended up having incompetent idiots for leads and being comedy.

You guys should definitely watch The Blood of Youth. It's the one who brought him to the public eye, if I'm not mistaken, and it's absolutely fantastic.

If what you're looking for is martial arts and sweeping epics, this is definitely not it. Both leads are very smart, however, and complement each other with their own strength and weaknesses. They have an intense relationship and healthy love line. A big part of the story is FL striving to make a place for herself as an independent woman in a world that would see her married off and submissive to the men in her life, while ML is investigating suspicious happenings I won't spoil. It's very good, well acted and well-paced, but there are very few fight scenes. It's more political in nature, I suppose.

He's certainly the sly and cunning type. We won't know his true intentions for a while yet, though.

- Stupid characters
- Plot conveniences
- Toxic relationships
- Moustache-twirling villains
- ML rescuing FL all the time
- Bad visuals

The way you put the fault for HIS behavior on her makes me very uncomfortable, tbh. It's not her fault the man can't take a hint. It's quite obvious she isn't interested, and way more involved with MJH than she ever will be with him. Plus, he barely knows and her, him. They knew each other for what, a few hours? Come on. That's not love.

Episode 12 is where he started getting unbearable to me. Plus, what's with all those people just deciding how FL's life should go without even asking her in the first place! I swear it pissed me off so bad lmao
