No, it's just outside of a building (an inner courtyard, I guess), with stairs going up at the front and pillars on either side. It's very narrow and distinctive, very recognizable.
Wait a minute... the scenery looks familiar... The bamboo house in episode 21 and the riverside picnic (kinda?)…

His most attractive feature in her eyes is that he's destined to be short-lived, that hasn't changed. That's the main difference between him and the other princes. Also, unlike them, he wouldn't ever try to force her to do anything (as you'll come to see in future episodes).
He's very, very respectful of her boundaries, which the others haven't been in the slightest (let's have a thought for sweet Prince Lie (I do like him, but that wasn't alright by any means) who tried to blackmail her by using her family's lives, or Prince Xin who won't take no for an answer, or maybe Prince Yu who wanted to kill her so he could marry his true love, and so on.). I just finished episode 20, and from what I've seen, had she told him to get lost and been serious about it, he absolutely would have vanished from her life.
I don't think he's changed at all, tbh. Also, his calculating nature is what makes him such a good match for her: they're both very clever and scheming, and understand each other with a glance.

Re 3. I'm sorry, what? How does that even work lmao (I'm genuinely confused/amused) ETA: Actually, I'm even more confused now that I think about it a bit more. Does that mean he married her as a man? Without knowing she was a woman?
The female lead is clever, calm and resourceful. The male lead is calculating and also calm. They're both very well-matched and have a really interesting dynamic.

Hope that helps.
