Right? I'm relieved that many liked it but it was super weird. The ml isn't the type to join in an impromptu embarrassing…
I hope including badly written commercials for kpop groups in dramas isn't going to become a trend, because so far, both of the times it's happened have been abysmal.
I think you exagerated lol, yes the first actress who played Yan cai wei was good but i have now completely forgotten…
Zheng He Hui Zi is her name, and she doesn't have as much experience as LXY, so it makes sense that she would be as good as he is. I really loved her in Ugly Beauty: although the show dropped the ball about halfway through, her performance was absolutely fantastic. I really wish she got cast more, she definitely deserves it.
A little hard, we are at ep 24 now and 8 more ep to end. But you can ask, there are very helpful commenters that…
ZHHZ is fantastic in Ugly Beauty. The show dropped the ball about halfway through, sadly, but her performance never disappoints. She plays two different characters in it. I really wish she would be cast in main roles more, she definitely deserves it.
Me with Marry My Husband, basically. I really dislike it, but I can't wait for the episodes lmao
Precisely. I read the webtoon as it was releasing, so I never got the feeling that it dragged, and I absolutely loved it, but this adaptation isn't working at all for me, they changed way too much, and strayed from the beautiful karmic justice the webtoon served all around.
No, he actually died in accident nd jihyuk's fate transferred to him. Now it will be interesting to see to whom…
The best part about the accident is that he sabotaged the car's brakes himself, planning for Soo-Min to die so he could get her life insurance. Except she killed his mom in the hospital, so he rushed there when he heard the news, forgot about what he'd done, and died on the way. Karmic justice at its finest.
After surviving so much, how could that useless puppet control him? The worst part is that ML will probably win by the end (god forbid the good guys lose at the end), but it'll be by no merit of his.
It's been my nightmare for years: they shout about a strong female lead, show you how badass she is... and then…
OMG, YES. That conversation where he told her he wanted her to focus on having kids and being his obedient wife even though the reason he fell in love with her was her strength and courage... I hated it SO MUCH omg. The writers destroyed this couple, istg this drama traumatized me. I loved it so much when it started but it really left an awful taste in my mouth by the time I couldn't take it anymore and dropped it.
Yeah, I had seen some comments on Weibo ;) hopefully in few years we may see a proper adaptation of the novel
Honestly, I don't know if it's because of how the censorship has tightened, but lately it feels like we're only getting copy-pasted dramas, just with different names and faces. Everything feels the same, and they all have the same issues (namely, terrible decisions, "strong" FLs who turn weak as heck as soon as there's romance involved, plot holes the size of an ocean, convenient stupidity,...). It's exhausting.
They might as well serve Nanxia to Beimo on a silver platter. They have an emperor who is incompetent at best…
"Maybe they both should take over their countries, get married and unite as one." Man, I can only dream of a world in which the scriptwriters have the guts to write something like that. It would be epic.
Looks like another drama I might have to drop going by the recent episode comments. I'm just really disappointed…
It's been my nightmare for years: they shout about a strong female lead, show you how badass she is... and then turn her into a moron who must ask for permission to breathe as soon as she falls in love. Exhibits one and two: The Song of Glory and The Legends. I was hoping this would be the exception to the rule, but it doesn't seem like it. I'm so tired of this bs.
there are so many scenes that have been cut out or is it just IQiyi? Im on episode 9 and it's unbearable
Yes, I noticed it as well. I wouldn't say it's unbearable, but it does lead to inconsistencies and plot holes. Like the door being open when she was bathing even though we saw her close it tightly five minutes earlier...
