Guys, this drama is driving me crazy… but I love it. I’m literally lost because how can people say Lu Wu Yi…
Yes basically, all what we seen in episode 21 and 22 that have to do with time travel, is LWY rewinding time to change fate... if you watch trailer for episode 23. Or jut aware of the original trailer you would have know who already.
Somebody please explain what that 'Being' was at the end of the episode. My brain right now 🤯🤯Please put…
Ji Shi is the thing/person/concept that appears at the end of episode 22. From the character map, we see that the Hanzi for them is 寂食, which means Jì Shí
寂 (jì) - Loneliness 食 (shí) - To eat, consume
寂食 (Jì Shí) - Literal translation is To Eat or Consume Loneliness.
Also, to note there 食 (shí) - To eat, consume, and there another Hanzi of 噬 (shì), which was not use which mean to devour, consume, bite
噬 (shì) has a more aggressive, maybe even darker connotation to it, while 食 (shí) is more neutral; maybe that speaks to the character themself.
Right now, we don't know much about them, for sure, but from their name, Ji Shi has to do with Ji Ling's loneliness. There are also some interesting implications that I won't mention yet til we learn more.
Ji Shi name breakdown! I wrote this before. Since we are here now, gonna remind people about what we can gather…

It just came to my mind rn, but does anyone know why Wu Shi Guang's surname is Wu? His foster parents are Cang…
Wu Shi Guang Wu (伍) - Just mean 5 Shi (拾) - to gather or to collect Guang (光) - light ,moments, or memory
Shi Guang (拾光) - to gather light
in the context of the story, Since he is created from the 9 dragon son reverse scale, who are basically the good guy or in a sense light. It also could mean a lot now since we all about time loop. It also very poetic that his name mean to gather moments or memory.
I think he’s the time reversal God, person thing. Why did they have to make him all albino though?
that not what I meant, the design is very rooted in Chinese mythology. I mean as I seen it in another drama or maybe game where Chinese mythology is in the forth front
He all pale and white, doesn't it look like if the moon become a person it would look like that ?

Doesn't he look like some kind of god ? It reminds me of Night Deity from Ashes of Love or any other character with a Night or Moon theme...
It is poetic that LWY is also considered a Moon to him?
