the japanese posters that have naked people and colours on them should have its own genre at this point
I was just gonna say that! I've been watching j-dramas for a while now and I never understood why do they have their characters naked in the poster(not all dramas, but a lot of them)? It doesn't even make sense sometimes(most of the time actually), like, it doesn't have anything to do with the stories or the characters, so why? 😅
You should try watching 'kanojo wa kirei datta'(ongoing), it gets better with each episode. If you'd like to try…
I just liked that the ml was a better person, not the typical tsundere I expected him to be, and the show focused a lot on the "true beauty" aspect of the story from start to finish.
I thought I would have to wait months for someone to sub the movie, but I was so glad when I found it on the plane...also, I agree, it was fun to watch but I guess I was expecting something more like 'liar game'. I wish it was a series, I would've liked to watch more of the Usogui.
Nagano Mei, Sugino Yosuke and Nishijima Hidetoshi in a drama!?! How'd I not know about this...Even though I'm expecting it to be cliche, I hope it's still enjoyable...
I'm really not sure how I feel about this movie. I watched it for Ryusei without knowing anything about what it is. And I feel that this should've been a drama/series instead. Like, we were given very little of everything and a lot of times I couldn't understand why a certain thing was happening. There wasn't enough screen time for all the characters for me to feel anything for them. The bromance between Baku and Kaji was something I wanted to see more of. I wish this was a show 'cuz it seemed to have a lot of potential. I was intrigued by the storyline but a lot times I felt ridiculous for watching it.😅 Also, Sakurai Kaito looked so good in this movie. I almost didn't recognize him. Judging by the ending, is there going to be a second part to this?
28 ep, but only 15 minutes per ep. Yeah, kind of short in their own way 😋
I mean, Japanese dramas are usually 12 eps long and even shorter than that, so like if it was 30 mins per ep, it would still be a 14 eps long drama...but the more the merrier :D
It's been quite some time since I watched the anime movie 'I want to eat your pancreas', but isn't it the title because the girl mentions something like that in the olden days, people believed that eating the organ that doesn't function in your body would heal you? (She tells him that she wishes to eat his pancreas 'cuz she suffered from a pancreatic disease) Which is why the title is 'I want to eat you pancreas'? (Implying that the girl wanted to be healed too) maybe I took it too literally?😅 I really enjoyed your article!!! Really fun and informative!
1. I really hate the "let's separate for a year and reunite" trope. 2. The whole platonic life partner thing with…
Yeah...I wish they should've given each other some time 'cuz I don't think that it would be easy for Izumi to stay friends with the guy she liked so much. The show made it look that easy 'cuz they obviously wanted a happy ending for everyone, but it's a lot more complicated than that...

I think Shishio felt that because Izumi has romantic feelings for him, but he doesn't, she'll leave him, but he didn't want that. He wanted to be with her regardless, 'cuz even if he didn't have romantic feelings for her, he did care for her and love her. I mean, that "let's be together" did sound like a proposal, but I guess he was just trying to say that I want to be with you even if I can't go out with you. I don't think he was trying to imply that they should try dating or something even though he's not interested in girls...
Not bad at all. Maybe it wasn't as good as the original ( I haven't watched it), but as a show on it's own, it's quite enjoyable. I also enjoyed the bts and side-stories at the end. It made me laugh, smile and sometimes cry, especially towards the end. About the ending, I think it's rather sad that Tsubaki has to get used to Mitsuru disappearing from time to time, not knowing when will he return, or if he ever will. For Toyama too, he could miss out on a lot and not be able to be with her always, but I like that it wasn't a goodbye forever. They can still spend time with each other. I'm glad it was after all, a happy ending.
P.S: Maybe if the show was longer, it could've done better, 'cuz the characters and the story would have more time to develop and not seem rushed...

Anyways, excited for this!!!
