I've really enjoyed the social discourse in this drama about alot of issues that aren't always discussed. Like toxic mothers, who are also abusive. But I also think in the end they didn't want to talk about.... that one issue since the country has a low birth rate. I think for me that would have shown how serious the drama is about that issue and bodily autonomy of women.Still really interesting though. But proud of Naoki.
I found this movie very similar to Luddaland. There were a few things that weren't clear here though. There were…
Like why not explain the offerings or the ghost security guard to them. What was the point of the BDSM scenes? Did his wife cheat on him? Why would the ghost/spirit fall in love with him?
I found this movie very similar to Luddaland. There were a few things that weren't clear here though. There were too many things happening, too many storylines that made the second half of the movie stupid. It couldn't decide on one strong plot or focus as it's main story. They just drop a bombshell in the last ten minutes of the movie. It's watchable but not the best story.
Potential wasted, why do they always gotta make the ml some turbo weird dude add another crazy bitch on the side…
This is a deliberate genre convention of josei manga. To discuss serious subjects like abortion, body autonomy of women and societal expectations you use humor. Because of this the drama has been trending and many articles have been written about it especially in Japan where there's a low birth rate.
So it's not wasted potential at all. In fact they achieved their goal.
I really liked S1, it was funny and intense and the violence of course. I really like Kamo-san 😍 I'm not sure about S2 especially adding more regular characters like those other guys and the white skirt girl. But I can see that it must be a great manga
Affair with Higashide (Asako I & II (2018). Still messes with my perception of her and the disappointment that she could just throw away her career like that.
Just randomly watched this drama, OMG so fun to watch all the revenge though some of the violence had me squirming. Some of the violence was fun, like that cult (I'm sorry but I laughed). I was like how does Kamo-san come up with this 😂🤣 Thanks to fansubber.
Riverside Mukolitta was interesting, and I did enjoy it, but I’m still not entirely sure I understood what the…
The movie explores life and grief and what it means for different people. How do you get closure, how do you mourn for people you loved and people you hated.
About the ghost the FL says "Even if she was a ghost I would still want to see her" isn't this the way we feel about some people who have died. Just one more chance to see them or speak to them. So it ties in with the whole theme of death in the movie and how the ones left behind have all sorts of feelings(grief, nostalgia, sadness or remembering)
One of those movies, I want to keep a personal copy of because it's so deep and profound at its exploration of the meaning of life and death, grief and all about being a human being. It uses its characters, setting and props to tell a deep story. "The fact that he sold his most expensive tombstone for a pet, while people couldn't afford it and that there was a whole department of uncollected human remains people with no name in the end.
I personally think being a human being is a ridiculous burden that a few people feel.
It was both funny and profound, the way you just didn't have personal space reminded me of what all humans need.
Don't tell me who is the trouble maker in this film😂🤣. I have a feeling I know. Is it same actor who always acting as the cheater/scumbag in many Cdrama?

That's how I felt about what this drama was trying to do.
It's watchable but not the best story.
