It's only 11 episodes so far, but this is the first drama since SOKP I am invested almost as I was in SOKP.
It's a deal, lol. After 17 episodes I must say that creators of SOKP were really brave to follow logic and go with (unpopular) slow burn romance, bcs in "The double" they are rushing romance so hard (to satisfy the audience). It's still good, though.

I was thinking of telling his wife almost the truth so they could escape as commoners. (Almost = poor him, crazy princess, no, he didn't cheat but princes advanced at him, blah, blah.) Princes could find them, but everything is better than killing wife. Second option is to try to kill off the princes in some "smart" way. I have no idea, tbh, why FL characters are written in this annoying manner. Do Chinese men really like women like this the most in reality? Or, this is subtle brainwashing of young girls that the only way they can get strong, hot, rich and loving boyfriend is to be childish, stupid, submissive doormat, since girls like that get boys in chinese dramas. I feel very sorry for Chinese women to be represented in idol dramas like this.

Plus, he knows she likes him, so no worries there. Plus noble idiocy. Who ever told screenwriters (and both of them are women) that putting FL on diet and beating that poor guy is top notch comedy is complete brainless idiot. Instead of focusing on revenge, amnesia and romance, they waste our time with this dull, annoying nonsense. And, yeah, when a guy doesn't want a girl it has something to do with her weight, rolling my eyes. Screenwriters, was there a contest how to ruin FL's character as much as possible?! And she started as strong female assassin :(
I like that there is a team of different people working together. I like that all characters are smart and that they are outwitting each other all the time. I like bromance. I really like second couple and their subtle relationship. I don't like that after second arc it becomes so draggy. I dislike ML. Really dislike him. I don't like that in third part of the show we barely see 4 other members of a group and most of the plot and screen time revolves around main couple. Third arc was so boring and main couple was so flat to me, therefore this drama started good but ended very meh and dull in my opinion.
Do you guys think the FL and ML will have any romance together or is this not that kind of drama? Please don't…
My understanding from novel spoilers is that this is not romance focused, but revenge drama, though there will be romance, only slow burn, which is to be expected since she is on her double revenge path and he also have some things to do about his father's (questionable) death (they opened this story line in last episode so I guess it's not for nothing).
