It'll a bit long and I'm sorry about that. There aren't really spoilers but still I would advise those who haven't seen the movie to avoid reading my post here.
First I'd definitely recommend it, it's far from perfection and there are some boring moments especially near the end (I was sure I would hate it since the ending in the movie was a complete disappointment, that was the only thing that scared me about this drama but thankfully it was done in much better way than in Fleet of Time). The ending was bitter but I strangely enjoyed it, I did not feel betrayed which was the case for FoT's ending. Secondly the nostagia is always there from the beginning till the end, I love those 90's and early 2000 songs we could hear throughout the drama, it brought me so many memories, the drama not only talks about famous singers from Western countries but also about China and HK, the main girl if I'm not wrong was an avid fan of Leslie Cheung!
Thirdly the friendship part here was really good, at least the drama did not disappoint me about that specific point, I actually wanted to watch it mainly for that (even before I watched the movie) and I was pleasantly surprised :p
And lastly The Ost is one of the thing I loved the most, the ending song is so addicting, Chen Xun's song as well <3

Highlights of the drama for me are definitely: Lin Jia Mo, Zhao Yu and Qian Ran, I really loved them so much and I love how they are developed in BiT. We like them with their qualities and flaws and we can say everything we want about this drama but we can't complain about the friendship part which was so beautiful and genuine between all of them. Definitely Jia Mo and Qiao Ran are the best among the five friends cause they are always there for Fang Hui, Chen Xun and Zhao Ye, their care and love for the whole group of friends were more obvious than the three other friends.
Conclusion my fave characters of the drama were: Lin Jia Mo as number one the coolest, Qiao Ran, Su Kai, Zhao Ye and also Song Nin.
In the movie Fang Hui was more likeable than in the drama.

Since I watched both the drama and the movie I can tell very firmly that the drama was much much better particularly when it comes to character's development, Nostalgia and OST. In FoT I hated Chen Xun and it's the same here, he is the biggest liar and I hate him for that, what I want to say is that if we can't fulfill a promise, we shouldn't say anything in the first place, not giving hope to a person and in the end make him/her so miserable because he/she will expect from you to fulfill this promise.

It was such an easy watch, perfect for a weekend marathon <3


It's 100 % entertainment, I was literally glued to my screen all throughout the drama and I have to say all those fights were superbly orchestrated, I'm still impressed <3 Needless to say I'll watch second season when it's subbed. Can't wait.
If you need a good Action drama I think this is the one, don't expect a great story, if your goal is to be entertained and nothing more you'll definitely enjoy this drama plus the songs fitted so perfectly with all the fight scenes.

I don't know why I'm like that with this actor but I fell so hard for him as Qian Ren In 15 years ... My, so lovely, cute, adorable and reliable in that drama and he is so handsome ♥.<3

It doesn't seem like that but she's really an elegant young woman, Loved her in Fifteen years to Wait for Migratory Birds and can't wait to see her again in a main role <3

I think the movie was really beautifully shot, it really felt like we were in the 60's and everything seemed so genuine.
There are some things I appreciated a lot in the movie, [Spoil] like the fact all the neighbors were eating together in front of their houses, talking together and sharing their meals [End of Spoil] : really how neighbors should behave in my opinion.
The setting, the colors and the music were very great and well appropriate as well, I really want to find those English songs and listen to them.

For me it was a great family movie, I love the interactions between the brothers, I could feel that Desmond cares a lot about his little brother, and they share quite a lot together. By the way the little kid is so extraordinary and weird I liked him a lot ;)

Strongly recommended but generally the colors are very dark, anyway I did not mind because the story was so heartwarming and touching and this family is really strong and wonderful.
And Aarif was surprisingly good here <3

Oh @Sharnie, I haven't seen you were also asking about my fave character. My choice goes for Fan Sheng Mei cause I have a lot in common with her, we have same thoughts regarding love and just like her I would do anything for my friends (like she did in ep 6 in Bai's place).
Plus I find her so cool, gorgeous and smart <3
My second favorite is An Di, love her calm and kind personality.

You're welcome and I'm really glad to see I'm not the only one loving the song, the actresses are fantastic :p. As for not using it as an opening theme song I think it's something typical with the production team, it was like that with all of their previous dramas (at least those I watched).

I need to watch more cause I've only seen ep 1 and I'll watch ep 2 soon since it's almost fully subbed. I immediately fell in love with Fan Sheng Mei and Ying Ying the others characters seem adorable too :p

What a soothing and refreshing movie, I enjoyed every minute of it and never ever felt bored not even for a second. I don't often say that about Jmovies but somehow this one managed to captivate me from the first second ♥ ! Highly recommended.

This drama is fascinating me and I have to say, all those references from Queen Seon Deok and Tree With Deep Roots are simply killing me, it brings me so many feels !!!! Both scriptwriters " Park Sang Yeon" & "Kim Yeong Hyeon" are like geniuses, their historical dramas are always so thrilling and brillant <3

Weird, unique, Colourful and memorable movie for me :D Some segments were uninteresting (3,6 & 7 to be more precise) but overall I enjoyed "Dreams" a lot, well a lot more than I expected.

Simply a Piece of Art, not to be missed! ♥.
