What's that supposed to mean and what does statements like these mean in every other chinese drama. Never have I ever heard any intimate couple or loving husband and wife say in all the chinese dramas I have watched so far, we are together and having sex. They always say we are together and then show intimate scenes between the couple. If she was not intimate with him, she would have told her conscious (other her) that we were just friends, just like she does with ML but she didn't.
Together is code word for intimacy and relationship, I know why people don't want to believe it cuz its repulsive shit but now is clear and today we had the confirmation.

Apart from that I really hated the last scene, ML explained to her very clearly in past episode, why and where she was wrong. She even acknowledged her wrongs in conversation with crown prince and the whole feeling was character development, so I thought finally but then she allowed her past consciousness (which she knew as wrong) talk her into first attempting to dump ML for Su Rong, when it failed IGNORE his feelings and him like she did in her past life.
Her past self believes she will get away with it cuz ML was cuck and never stood up to her but in this life, he is different. He put up with everything in past life but here the moment shit appeared (and it looked like he will live his past life again, he jumped the gun and was ready to move on "like fuck this shit I am out" and rightfully so cuz it was appearing like repeat of past life. Literally one scene ago in that today episode, ML told her again please discuss with me again before making life defining or any big decision for both of us (treat me as human and not your personal pig/toy).
But nahhh she has learned nothing and still like her old self, made one-sided decision and then made an excuse for herself (as why she is right) but her calculating mind failed to factor in a big critical multiplier (lack of common sense in FL) and that is "Human emotions". ML has told her repeatedly, that humans (and him) are emotional beings, so he won't put up with shit and he will leave. If he doesn't leave it will considerably harden his stance (cuz he is a emotional person) and their two-year contract divorce is pretty much confirmed at this point.
To all the people "she is figuring herself out and he should support it", why?
Why only he have to be the person to suffer and make sacrifices, he can leave and she can take her jolly time figuring herself out and don't let ZJM superb acting fool you (she is making her character a lot more palpable), the character she is laying is vile and vicious woman. He called the physician, saved her life and informed her husband (emperor) who took her under her wing...not once he did try to be intimate with her or cheat !

Forced him to give her open end to cheat, brought a boy toy back to residence, walked the same path they did and cheated in public, then had full sex in home, due to her actions ML had zero respect in court and public cuz his wife is cheating, he begged for forgiveness on his mother death but she just went on and when she can't torture him anymore...she killed him !

all that for what, he saved his ex-fiancé life when she was dying, and FL misunderstood !

I wanted to read the novel and someone recommended me to start from chap 170 (which talks about events of past life from ML point of view), I managed to power through to half of the chapter but that was enough for me (the original work as 171 chapters).
That's why I consider myself non-novel read viewer cuz chap 170 was an extra chapter !

I will spare you the details and I would recommend you stay away from novel, especially ch 170. Shitting on ML and making them a doormat cuck is quite normalized in cdramas but novel take it one step further and is like glorification of violence.
You will not see FL in positive world after that and drama has changed things around for better, I guess and he real reason ML was irked tonight to say stuff like this was FL have not learned anything and is still "gaga" over SML. He saw that and thought to himself it will be repeat of previous life, as you saw he was ready to cut her out and save himself but FL desperation to make him stay was positive development.
They will not get rid of sml that easily....mfo will probably live till last episode and middle part of the drama will need some sort of tension, so SML will instigate reckless FL to divorce him as per agreement and I am 98% sure he will succeed. FL is a reckless person, who acts emotionally !

but FL did 100000% times worse and openly cheated and slept with SQR, while being married to her husband and when she can't torture him anymore. She killed him !
I know what you are angry at, that FL had not learned anything and will cheat again but today's rain scene told a different tale. You can clearly see her scared as hell...he is leaving her and her subconscious took over and she ran after him.

I am joking she is probably right, and kids are chaos multiplier c-drama directors use in last part of the story to create suspense and sense of urgency. Which they then use to justify "Leads marriage" in the end.
I have not read the full novel but according to some people...similar method was used in latter part of the story.

We will not forget novel cuz it was that BAD....I have seen shit in C-dramas over the years but it was the most depressing and abusing shit I have heard in my life.
The novel was written for people, who "enjoy emotional violence" like this and get off it. I know they have changed a lot of stuff in drama and leads may not even divorce !

I get it brother, novel FL is absolute trash "Worst of the Worst" and I had WW3 with her actions justifiers and sympathizers but behind all that vicious person is a hurt spiteful woman exacting revenge on ML.

I have read the chapter you are citing her and it was written from ML POV and I am probably the person you are referring to here cuz I was spreading this information around....but they have changed things from the novel and omitted details like these from the drama.
If that was the case FL won't be making big statements like she said in today's episode, and you should read the whole novel including chapters from neutral point of view to make the final call.
FL was absolutely without any shadow of the doubt wrong in previous life and openly cheated on her husband out of spite, but she held onto love and hope. Ala her ego and princess syndrome got the better of her and even after believing he has poisoned her to death....she was crying at his death (its supposed to mean something).

Who knows all these pent-up emotions (after confession) will need a release and after going home into the bedroom, before laying together they look at each other and think....lets get it over with and start "F"
Bedroom is a dangerous territory to navigate for them tonight, and ML is historically known to harass FL's in situation like these (Story of kunning palace).
Considering these factors "unwanted pregnancy" is very possible !

but it still took them 20 years and second lives to figure it out. I hope crown prince tells her that it was the ML, who resolved the situation not the SQR and it makes her think back at all the hidden sacrifices. She made in her previous life !
